  • I got CCD to autograph my minstrel banjo. Mr Flemons was extremely friendly and approachable. One of the nicest "professional" musicians I ever met.

  • I have SUCH a crush on him! What a gift!

  • Don Flemons is one of my heroes!

  • I always wanted to know how, and you were so kind to share!!!

    Thanks a LOT!

  • I stumbled over you guys a couple of hours ago, and have spent that time inhaling your vids.

    AWESOME STUFF!

One MAJOR new fan here - THANKS FOR SHARING!

  • i saw you last night!!

  • I've boned plenty of ladies.

  • First class! Looks easier and a lot more versatile than spoons. Thanks for posting!

  • @123Shel12 Well if you think the bones are easier than the bones they are not man i can garuntee you that. The spoons are much easier.

  • @Dectheboner I should have said that Mr. Flemmons makes it look easy!

  • Bone guitar. Boooooooones.

  • whoa! when he took his hat off it looked like a different guy.

  • My brother wears some cool hats!

  • wheres all the gangster jive take a lesson

  • Awesome.

  • Dom's a charmer. How he manages those complex bone rhythms while also concentrating on the harmonica is beyond me. His head looks better with his hat on......

  • ooooooo snap roooollll them bones

  • happy to see a joyful musical human expression, thanks Dom Flemons , a universal language you offering to the world ... great,

  • They had great video/sound quality back in the 1800"s

  • i love you dom flemons!

  • Great video Dom- It looks like you are playing a natural set in the left hand, and a wooden in the right? Wondering first if your left hand is dominant and second if there is a weight difference. I have played a year and my left hand is still not up to speed (though I am left handed)...maybe I need to change weight around a bit. I play two natural sets about the same weight

  • Awesome!!

  • Amazing ! Thanks for the demo. You are certainly a talented young man. Also thank you and the group for preserving the music.

  • is that a stereo skate boards pin on his hat

  • Which type of bones are these? They sound pretty good and I'm trying to figure out which kind I'd like to get. The lighter color seems to be real bones, but what about the dark ones?

  • thanks for posting, you are fun to watch. I'm learning the them myself to play at drum circles

  • that bro signed my hat

  • Oh my God, he is the cutest thing ever.

  • Brilliant, impressive sir!

  • Thanks, Dom! I think I'll stop by the rendering plant and get a couple of cow ribs to make myself two pairs. BONES! Bones in my pocket to accompany and other instrument.

  • Saw 'em in Charlottesville last night. Everything about 'em is 100% natural. One of the best concerts I have ever experienced. And when they did "Snowden's Jig" the entire theater went nuts! Chocolate Drops representing the best of the Appalachians!

  • speechless! just wonderful to watch and enjoy

  • Absolutely Excellent!!

  • haven theard the bones played since I left the emerald Isle! might take it up myself!

  • Thanks for the tutorial from a master.

  • seeing you guys again at Hardly Strictly next week

  • Man, you are a genius.

  • Thanks so much for introducing a new instrument to me! All the best to you.

  • wauw this guy is very talented!!!

  • Thanks Dom. You have made the bones an essential element of the American Soundscape!
