  • what is the model number for this phone? someone please respond.

  • Sorry, I'll only buy these phones when they release one with Hexa-core 4ghz, 12gb ram, GTX 590 OC. and Windows

  • @Caio569 which won't be any time soon

  • @Caio569 but will it run crysis?

  • @Caio569 wow you want them to play skyrim on ultra?

  • ebay.ca/itm/110801939523?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

  • in 10 years we'll have phones running @ 1thz

  • will it be available at malaysia?

  • I just hope the price isnt too different

  • @Charbax does the new samsung galaxy s2 lte have gorilla glass like s2?

  • @TheMewto10 yep

  • WTF is Iphone ? I LOVE SAMSUNG !!! ;)

  • anyone knows the release date for this phone(Europe)?

  • Can this phone update to OS 4.0 ICS in the future like the Samsung Galaxy S2? Thansk! =)

  • @samuelli817 Yes it can =)

  • Iphone 4s killer hands-down. Ive used the 4s and s2 lte... Lets just say there was no competition ;)

  • its on 4G y dont u go on LTE?

  • k can someone please explain to me the difference between this and the original galaxy s2? is it still just as fast? is it a better overall phone? and also, i was looking on the rogers website and the lte looks different compared to the s2 but on this vid it the buttons look relatively the same. and is the s2 x better than the lte or is it not that big of a difference

  • so what is the difference between the Skyrocket and the HD LTE versions of Samsung Galaxy S II?

  • Alright guys, Just to give you a little comparison. I live in Canada and so I have Rogers Hi-Speed Internet at home and an iPhone 4 on 3G. Rogers also has LTE (fastest network at the moment). I did a speed test on an S-2 on LTE (with SIM card + network) and compared it with my home internet speed and the 4. Here were the results:

    Home Internet: 18 MBPS

    iPhone 4 (3G): 3.7 MBPS

    Galaxy S-2 (LTE): 22 MBPS

Mind boggling speeds. I couldn't believe how fast it was rendering pages :\

  • Just got this phone..s2 LTE HD

  • @lordcimek where did you buy it? and how much did you pay for it

  • @henrickrw In south korea...i did not pay any money, is a 2years contarct, will pay like $20 or so monthly just for the phone. They do check how long you've been using their service and other calculation to come up with the amount.

But this phone cost is like $800....

  • How do I unlock this phone from T-world?

  • gotta love the Galaxy s II it is the best phone ive had, was also able to get it cheap at bit.ly\t5k3Ii

  • We all know where this phone is coming to when it comes to the states.Cough cough Verizon.

  • @wafcar1 undercover iphone fanboy expooosed!? 0.o ?

  • I'm a 4 year iPhone user who just switched to a Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket two weeks ago and I love it! Goodbye Apple...I won't miss you!

  • The mistake I have done is to opt for SAMSUNG s 2 HD LTE since it has very worse battery performance ... in standby mode mine giving hardly 12 battery life ... so far i have changed three ... each one has problems ... i feel its a failure model though the performance and quality is good. I am struggling to cancel it now. waste of money :(

  • will it be released in the UK??

  • @Charbax I thought Galaxy S2 LTE have the new Exynos 4212 inside, not some Qualcomm crap. If it indeed uses Qualcomm snapdragon chip, I'll be seriously disappointed.

  • @JamesL0717 I'm also a little confused which chip Samsung is using. I think they might use the Qualcomm because Qualcomm might have an LTE working, but Samsung also uses their own Exynos and the Texas Instruments OMAP4460 that can go up to 1.5Ghz and which is also being used for LTE in the Galaxy Nexus, so for confirmation on which processor the SGS2 LTE and with HD Super AMOLED screen option etc, I think we might need to wait for the product to be widely released and things confirmed.

  • @JamesL0717 to my dissapointment,it will use qualcomm crap

so prolly i will wait for s3 to come out with exynos 4212 inside....

  • GUYS, better known galaxy larger screen the same resolution. then they are okay but I prefer the taste notes ^. ^

  • does this phone have a display of 720p? Cuz here in Canada rogers is getting it, and with the new android 4.0 coming ,it is said that android 4.0 native screen resoultion is 720p. So im wondering should i get this? Because when i get it i do want to jump up to android 4.0 and take advantage of that nice new interface.

  • Good-bye iPhone 3gs...Hello Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE

  • i think this much better than samsung galaxy s2 it have bigger screen and bigger dual core cpu and screen res very high

  • @PiggyShal sorry to burst your bubble, but this S2 LTE is still same old lousy resolution. Not higher at all. check the specs.

  • Please guys if anyone knows from where can l buy Galaxy s2 lte hd? reply me plz

  • Look...even in the video its just as fast as the S2 so if you allready have the S2 and you want the LTE theres no point cause it just loads as fast.

  • Hayley pm me. And the new S2 LTE isnt that much faster lol its just bigger screen. Pm me.

  • Can i buy it in Hong Kong?:)

  • Looked everywhere online to buy it and get it delivered to UK. No luck =(

  • @asianman123abc: u're wrong. It's still 800x480

  • the screen size should have been smaller .............

  • Samsung 2TheMax!!!!!!!

  • When is it coming to Rogers?

  • Samsung FTW!

  • apple is in the a rude awakening samsung is finna rock the place boy o boy can these phones hurry up and come out people are tryinna to make me jump on apple side but apple sucks booty juice with there remake lol

  • The king of phones

  • Yank it off that cable and run like forest buddy!!

  • Nexus prime, galaxy s2 lte or galaxy note?? which one to buy when it comes out?

  • sorry Apple.

Looks like you'll be joining the likes of RIM in a couple of years.

  • @masonkim7

true tho. if you guys notice iphone is getting uniformed because of their advertising technique. other phone brands like samsung, nokia, htc and so on are not so over powering the commercials....i guess that's also why people end up buying iphone because this is the only phone they learned to be a "smartphones" not me i do research lol.

  • @masonkim7 What's RIM???

  • @masonkim7 Apple is going to be the first company to hit a Trillion dollar revenue... They aren't going broke any time soon

  • They just said it's an an 1.2ghz

  • Is this coming to the UK?

  • Anyone knows any news with regards to the LTE's release in Singapore?

  • I got that phone and it is Effing Awesome!!

  • @jasosiva From what country are you from? *jealous*

  • @eatmywordsLOL From Canada. ;)

  • @eatmywordsLOL Buy it when it comes out there & trust me you cant go wrong. I had almost all the phones out there including the iphone 4 and The new 4S doesn't even beat The S2.

  • @jasosiva Hey i'm from Canada too! And well i'm due for an upgrade with Rogers. I want the Galaxy S2 original version because i researched that it uses a faster processor (fact) even if its down on Ghz. Unfortunately Rogers only offers the LTE. I am very picky with lag or unsmoothness, so my question is, how smooth is the scrolling, pinch to zoom, flipping through pages, texting, etc... If not smooth, would it still be smoother than HTC Raider or Motorola Droid Razr? Thanks!

  • @iH8MomJokes I NEVER USED AN HTC NOR THE RAZR BUT WHAT I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THE SAMSUNG S2. LOOK IT UP IN KIJIJI TO SEE IF ANYONE IS SELLING IT UNLOCKED INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR THE LTE. MOSTLY YOU CAN GET ONE FOR LIKE 4 BILLS. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

  • Whats the screen resolution?

  • @tanmimh 1280x720

  • when does this arrive for rogers?????

  • yo Charbax would you know if the Nexus Prime will be coming out for the Sprint Network?

  • Comment removed

  • Damn no HD screen smh

  • 4.3 isnt that big, there other phone samsung note is 5.1 lol

  • WTF i want this cellphone but... its too dam big D:

maybe ill get the 1.2ghz version with 4.3....

  • look at this. this is unvincible

  • 4.5" is too big for my pocket

  • sshit had alr decided on the S2 when this comes out ~.~

  • im bored with the iphone...im getting this phone next week

  • @jkracing have they already released it? i hope they'd bring SS2LTE in Asia :|

  • @eatmywordsLOL oh i dont know about LTE but im getting the galaxy s2

  • @jkracing hmm. why not wait for the LTE version of it? :) anyways, goodluck on your new samsung baby

  • BRING IT TO THE STATES

  • @RenegadeFury Its avaible with t mobile :D

  • @TheNecromancer077 No it's not, t-mobile doens't have a LTE network and the phone above is a 720p display.

  • @RenegadeFury I was thinking that becouse its also 4.5 and with 1.5ghz...t-mobile (dot) c0m /shop/ Phones/ cell-phone-detail.aspx? cell-phone=T-Mobile-Galaxy-S-II

  • jeez, if I want that processing power I'd buy either a tablet or a pc, a cellphone should be nothing more than a sms and phone call reception device

  • what the heck is a faster wifi lol?

  • @meritocrat81 And Steve Jobs died you fucking idiot

  • @AreusAstarte rest in shit steve blowjobs

  • @meritocrat81 proof that samsung has bought time travel technology from North Korea to steal ideas from apple and to kill Steve Jobs with "pancreas cancer".

  • now iphone 5 releaase is canceled, so now we gonna get this insteaf

  • @ 0:50 - "Might be nexus prime...nexus prime maybe...". That's interesting. I thought the nexus prime would be a big jump from the Galaxy S2.

  • @Sandman86ful Just to add - actually might be. The released US LTE version looks quite different to this and also features a 1.20GHz CPU. never know if one of the most anticipated android devices is being unveiled as something else in advance.

  • im gonna wait for the S3,definetly gonna be the most compact & functionality-packes smartphone

  • respect!

  • did the galaxy s2 lte have been released throughout asia? im for malaysia and im about to get galaxy S2 but after see this im about to change my mind. is it release already?

  • @nate91able Samsung has an event on October 11th in the USA, I recommend that you wait for that event to see how the Nexus Prime will look like and maybe there will be more info about the availability of the 4.5" 1.5Ghz devices then, rumor has it Nexus Prime is even 4.65" screen and even faster OMAP4460 1.5Ghz processor and most importantly runs vanilla Android Ice Cream Sandwich

  • @Charbax wow.its worth the wait.thanks for the info :)

  • @Charbax its 29th of Oct and i didnt find any news about it! have you got any idea when it will be release?thanks

  • @TheKinGly07 It depends where in the world you are, in the US, Verizon does LTE, anyone else? In Europe I think only few countries have LTE. My guess though is Samsung may focus more on selling the new Galaxy Nexus with LTE and HSPA+ depending on the market. The timing for release is chosen by Samsung and the carrier.

  • @nate91able If your area has LTE available which is a separate network from 3G/4G then you should be able to get this phone

  • @nate91able same to mee

  • Iam just watching this on my galaxy s2 :)

  • It's coming to tmobile sometime in october. and the processor is manufactured by qualcomm and has a slightly larger battery because of the faster clock speed. but battery life of all us versions should be the same.

  • Samsung holds second place in the global market of having patents they hav got fucking many 3g patents which iphone doesnt have and copied their patents lol

  • lte 4g is five times faster than 3g

  • Cant wait. Looking forward to this one. Wondering though how long it will take to get to online retailers like expansys and others

  • its pretty much nexus prime for asian market, however its too big man, i thought my galaxy s2 was big at 125mm high, this is 130mm! another half centermetre more!. should of kept it at 4.3 and keep it HD, would of been more PPI then

  • if the iphone wants to be at the top of the cellphone chart. they have to come up to with a powerful iphone 5

  • I`m an artist and I find the S2 pretty useful for sticking art reference pics on and drawing from them when I don`t have the proper files handy. Actually helped really well, especially with that large bright viewing screen. It was also so easy to pinch the picture bigger or smaller with my left hand while still painting. Amazing really.

Of course there`s lots more, but that`s just one unexpected area where it helped.

  • What might one actually DO with such a device? I see myself doing the following:

Viewing flash cartoons, playing DOSBOX games (like quest for glory etc) Youtubeing, video recording some piano action and daily adventures, calling internationally (more than locally) and... um... what else?

Basically if I do business at home, would I actually need a device like this? Sure I want it... I WANT it, but somethings holding me back... it almost feels like a waste for me to have it... :(

  • isn't the resolution on this screen 1280x720?

  • roar!

  • wheres that place ?

  • nice phone man

  • hey if you live in US i think that the is the t-mobile version of the Galaxy S II because Samsung need it to change the chip so it cloud be compatible with the 42 Mbps the t T-mobile is offering. Try to search for that and let me know what you find out. Thank YOU

  • @CRaZeeable How do you know that the Nexus Prime won't have an LTE version also?

  • @Charbax cause its gonna be on sprint

  • so this is the version coming to verizon huh?

  • Comment removed

  • is this att?

  • I saw this guy today at work with the samsung galaxy 2 and the phone looks amazing. I love the size of the screen and comparing the size to the iPhone it's much better as an all in one device to carry with you everywhere. I really hope Apple makes the iPhone with a bigger screen.

  • One question. Does it have a "S.I.M" card slot?

  • @N3utac

    Yes it does

  • NFC?

  • This S2 LTE it's going to be available in the Americas?

  • this what tmobile SSGS2 is going to be like...Cant wait

  • Don't you think 4.5 screen is just too large?

  • There are still alot of things that need to be worked out with LTE, I have the Galaxy S2 HSPA+ and I get great speeds on at&t, like peaks of 7Mbps up at times, so not having the LTE version right now I dont really see it a big deal. I paid for my GT-i9100 GSII $719 from the eXpansysUSA website when it first came out (16GB version) factory unlocked.

  • It's a 1.5ghz dual core Qualcomm APQ8060.

  • @MrNearlCrews Verizon has a fast lte network here and coverage in most major cities. With 6-12 mb/s down regularly and at&t is currently building their lte network out.

  • When is this coming out in the US?

  • @StylinSis3189 sprint will get it on the 16th. nothing firm from the others yet

  • Hmmm, is this the nexus prime / verizon Droid Prime? I hope so!

  • @beaker2000 It can be, but other rumors are talking something like a 4.65" HD Super AMOLED

  • F*ck i just bought samsung S2 and its so expensive like $790 canadian. and now this OMG samsung

  • Tablet? :D

  • I wonder how those display sizes will develope in the future!?

  • Just hope will come to the UK from the word "go" ;-)

  • Omg

  • the monster

  • hope this upgrade is what tmobile is holding out for. since they had a virtual no show at ifa 2011
