  • Perfect style thanks ! Check my channel for some nice training :)

  • thanks for this great tip,it helped me a lot and wrappin' hands first thing to do,you need to do right in exercise, gratitude.

  • What is your opinion on Everlast's Evergel gloves? They are suppose to replace hand-wraps. I am training (boxing) with them and I do feel they protect the knuckles and are easy to use. What do you think?

  • @AntonioCS The everlast Evergel gloves do a fairly decent job of protecting the knuckles, although it may be lacking in the wrist area. An option you do have if you want extra knuckle protection is to use gel knuckle guards in conjunction with the handwraps (Everlast makes some). This way you can wrap your wrists as well!

  • thanks this vid really helped me out!

  • Ugly arms..

  • I prefer this style wrap but only difference is I wrap my thumb and use gauze instead of the actual wrap for padding, but overall I wrap my hands pretty much like this.

  • Can this prevent my hands from losing its dexterity or weakening my grip?

  • @Steffiroth dont wrap so tight?

  • Um we usually wrap our thumbs

  • how long is the wrap ?

  • @jkbk121 1.80m as he said in the video

  • Good lookin wrap but why dont you do the thumb?

  • nice,it helps a lot

  • you might wanna protect your thumbs - this is not a good technique

  • thumbs up for loose thumbs!!

  • YEAH!

  • That's a pretty hat

  • Where do I get that T shirt its so awesome

  • haha your gym is by my house

  • this type of wrap works very well for me but usually half way through training the wraps start to come loose what could i do to stop that from happening?

  • @sassyblackcity1 I use hockey tape sometimes to stop my wraps from coming loose.

  • you are a skinhead, they call u hooligan... just because you dont make any sense to them !!

    Dropkick Murphys...

thanks for the wrap dude... long life

  • @daddis Nice explanation. Which gloves OZ you indicate for trainning? 10, 12, 14, 16? Thanks.

  • why did he zoom out I didnt catch that last part ---_----

  • i use twins are thay any good?

  • @TheFAz187 I also use twins but i do not like them because they are not elastic, non elastic ones give me a hard time wrapping my fingers

  • what kind of hand wrap did you use

  • Hey I just saw this guy fight on July 22nd.

  • I like this one. Thanks!

  • Is this muay thai style of wrapping legal for western boxing?

  • @iLikeRiceXD yea it is...and in boxing they us a strong tape to make the bulge in the knuckles even Bigger than shown here...

  • With each punch, doesn't the padding on the knuckles get pushed back?

  • Hey man i need help, i have elastic 180s, and when ever i wrap my hands, its still feels like my wrist has no support, and when i wrap tight enough for my wrists to be supported, my fingers turn purple. Do you have any tips?

  • @michael55443332211 its because theyre elastic...regular wraps are only a small percent elastic to fit better, so with high elasticity the wraps go on too tight cutting circulation and theyre not sturdy enough to protect your hand...

  • if you not carefull they can ass rape you on the streets

  • how did he close it off... was that velcro?

  • @tewster Yup, it was velcro

  • I'm going with this style of wrapping next time. I bruised my knuckles on my last session, maybe it's cause I'm getting better and hitting harder LOL thanks.

  • That's a badass hands you have there.. :DD

  • These guys are awesome that Philly style + muay thai = miles davis style cool

  • what about the thumb?

  • @thehotboywalking Wrapping the thumb is not necessary. We have some fighters who do, and some who don't. The purpose of a good hand wrap is to protect the knuckles, bind the hand together (so as to absorb and diffuse impact more universally), and support the wrist. Wrapping the thumb adds some extra support to the thumb joint in case you jam it when throwing a punch (which is bad form anyway). So ultimately it's your call.

  • @daddis Thanks a lot! I asked because I often jam my thumb. My technique is good i just have a habit of punching with my hand semi open inside of the boxing glove.

  • @daddis your not all wrong, but i feel their is something your missing, After alot of Heavy bag training, and i DON'T wrap my thumb, but now my thumb joint is pretty soar, my pinky joint is Busted swollen and bleeding under the skin, but the part that gives more pain is the Thumb joint,

AND NO, i diddnt jam my thumb into the heavy bag :D:D:D i guess it's just because of the Whole impact on the Hand itself, making the thumb joint soar.

  • For anyone that has trouble with this method, check out mine. It's a little easier to follow, but offers the same protection.

  • i saw this guy when someone from my gym faught someone from his. he always talks like he smoked 5 packs of newports. much respect though

  • Awesome video, thanks

  • Hey bro was just wondering where you get your 'fighting solves everything' shirt? I actually fucking love it hahahaha :D

  • Thanks that made use wraps alot easier

  • at the beginning when you're folding, how do you make sure you always fold the right way? i've done this, and i actually prefer this to other styles, but i can never be certain i'll end up with the velcro on the right side.

  • @axev2 You can fold it it end over end instead of the "S-style" layering that's shown in the video to ensure that the velcro will be facing the right way. But even in the case that the velcro ends up facing the inside, you can simply flip it over the right way

  • @daddis hey thanks for that. don't know why that didn't occur to me to just flip the velcro part over at the end of wrapping haha. this vid is great, very useful. thanks again for all the help.

  • @daddis just wondering can you do this with a 108 hand wrap?

  • @llamaman62 Unfortunately, with the 108" wraps, you use up a good amount of the wrap with just the padding for the knuckles that you don't have enough wrap to do the rest of your hand. 180" would be more adequate for this style of wrap

  • @axev2 simple way to fix this, wrap your hand, if you do it the right way, mark (marker or even tape would work) the wrapping in such a way so that you can recognize. personally i like to just put an X on the "up" side of the wrap

  • Does this method work equally well with Mexican style handwraps?

  • is this type of wrapin jus for muay thai style or can i use it for jus boxing too??

  • Thank you this seriously helped me alot!!!!

  • Heck, this is the way i was taught from my school, it provides exellent padding for both my knuckles & wrist

You can't go wrong with it, thanks for for posting this vid, might come handy for beginners out there.

  • Do you think i can get a similar effect using strapping tape, with some variation? Im looking less for knuckle protection and more for wrist support. Im not really sure why id want thumb support... i havent used my thumb in a punch for as long as i can remember...

  • fuck , why the god had to make wrapping so difficult , it is harder than kicking to the hand , argh

  • @Telepi92 Practice makes perfect. Once you do it a few times, it'll get easier and easier. Just keep at it.

  • @daddis ahha , i found a way actually what is very easy to follow , but it is a little worst compared to you ( in short your's better but harder for dump people like me sorry for bad english ) . I am gonna try to achieve your way of wrapping hands it looks cool . Thank you for your advice have a nice day .

  • SirNenon..... I totally agree with you

  • Nice wrapping. It looks good for the knuckles, I will certainly try it. All those wankers that talk shit behind a PC don't have any idea what's all this about. Best regards,

  • thats awsome u relly dont need to wrap the thumb most people think they do

  • Thanks for the video guys.

  • @raidenzero Thanks for watching! Be sure to check out our other Muay Thai hand-wrapping video as well!

  • what the hell kinda wrapping is this??? You forgot about your thumb!!! lol Hello???

  • awesome bro thanks

  • My trainer wraps my hand like that

  • @brozac1011 my'n too

  • Thanks guys! Wait, do you have to wrap the thumb? I am using a different wrap than before, and i wrap around the thumb

  • @NemesisAggression Wrapping of the thumb is optional. Some choose to do it and some prefer to have the thumb free. A simple figure-8 wrap around the thumb can be done for anybody who wants to wrap the thumb. Thanks for watching!

  • @daddis Whats the purpose of wrapping thumb? Thanks!

  • @daddis Thanks BRO!!!!!

  • this guy with the hat has a really sexy voice...no homo.

  • gracias!!!! justo lo que necesitaba, que bueno que comparten con el mundo algo de su experiencia

  • great way of wrapping thx

  • @charliecjm No problem buddy. Check out our other Muay Thai hand-wrapping video too, featuring Muay Thai legend Coban "The Cruncher" Lookchaomaesaitong

  • Very good wrap, you can also use a piece of sponge if you have trouble making the padding

  • his voice scared me at first :D

  • why u all hatin? Anyway its true that u forgot the thumb though

  • @MrAxileas Some people don't like to wrap the thumb, lord knows I don't

  • @poncekid56 well i dont either but u should. Only in mma the thumb stays unwraped cause you need flexibility for your submisions. But in muay thai, kick boxing, thai boxing or any martial art with serious striking u need to wrap that thumb or it will propably break :(

  • Nice, but why not protect the thumb? this is the only problem with this style of wrapping, add on a couple of turns on the thumb and is a wrap. The T-shirt is right on the button.Fighting Does Solve Everthing. Cool vid, Thanks guys.

  • Nice, but why not protect the thumb? the T-shirt is right on the button.Fighting Solves Everthing. Cool vid, thanks.

  • I've tried this style of wrapping, I kept injuring my hand. But when I use the western style without going over each finger i haven't had a problem. Is it just different for every person?

  • dudes right fightin does solve everything :P

  • no thumb support?

  • is it normal to wear through some skin on your knuckles wrapping this way? My middle finger knuckle is pretty raw.... i don't suppose i'm punching wrong because the way i used to wrap my hands never wore it raw. Anybody know if i might have it too loose, too tight?

  • Been using this style of wrap for a couple years now. Honestly my favorite way to wrap my hands. Good padding on the knuckles, and doesnt add a lot of bulk to the palm.

  • i wasted 1:11 of my life jst so i can learn about my frickin days of the goddamn week!?!? wow can u teach me my abc????? give me a break

  • hey, i got a question for you out there. i got my hand tapes, and they are smelling. the smell will remain in my hands even after washing them many times. Not very familiar with the hand tapes so i am wondering if its normal. any help?

  • @k9r100 are you washing your hands, the wraps, or both? You should definitely wash your handwraps after you use them.

  • 180" ???!!! Were the hell i get those(in store). Lol i only have 108" everlast ones and doing this with just a 4 layers of knuckle pad is leaving only a few wraps for wrist. But still sick wrapping style

  • This wraping tutorial is good, just need a thumb roll for protection

  • What about the thumb, no love for the big guy?

  • @gabriellsan hahahaha big guy, nice one!

  • doesnt seem enough support for the wrist for my liking

  • why would u make a big ass knucklepad if you wear gloves anyway?

  • i can see the advantage of this style very nice for grappling

  • this type of wrap look kool!

  • how about protecting the thumb?

  • @nahblud Hmm, What thumb ? :)

  • Is it important to pad the knuckles? I've been watching wrap videos all day trying to determine how I should wrap my hands. Is it necessary or redundant?

  • I'm having trouble finding a happy tightness to my wrap. it looks fairly relaxed in this video. I too have hella girly wrists, and a old boxers break in my hand that never set quite right.

I also notice the pad you used was not really placed over the pinky knuckle. I know, you dont want to hit with that, but figured you'd still pad it.

  • I do something similiar to this but i skip doing the "pad" at the beginning and pack more on the wrists.

I have hella girly wrists though.

  • good tutorial

  • good tutorial

  • This is pretty good wrapping style. I like it as I used to do the rollover after wrapping my wrist once and it is time consuming. I'm gonna try this out today at the gym. Only thing I don't like is no thumb protection but that can be handled by having one less roll loop.

  • daddis Where the gym located at little pass city hall?

  • Why don't you guys wrap the thumb at all? Not trying to talk sh!t, just wondering.

    Thanks for the vid.

  • siam no1 toronto canada best training camp in canada maybe the world with fighters that have won all over the world and we dont wrap are hands like that at all.it looks like theres little to no wrist support.

  • Never tried this wrap looks like some good shit though, maybe if I' travel to that side of the country I'll drop in for some training... Keep KILLIN IT!!!

  • I'm not judging your video or anything or talking smack, i'm just curious, what about the thumb? This way of wrapping (which seems good) seems to neglect the thumb, don't you want to make sure it's wrapped as well?

  • i love that way of wrapping.I always do it this way after i saw that video :D

  • thanks fellas, you saved my hands :))

  • Anyone els think urban ninja sucks donkey dick ?'

  • THAT SHIRT IS BEAST!

  • I WANT THT GUYS SHIRT!!

  • Kup Kun Krup Sir, great vid. I only have one question though, is there a way to wrap them to better support your wrists? Should I just put more around the wrist area? I have always had bad wrists, and I've dislocated them a couple times, so having better wrist support is more important to me than knuckle support, since I practice punching Muay Thai bags and walls with no gloves on to increase knuckle strength.

  • I actually prefere this way of wraping than the one when you start around the thumb and the wrist. only in the end I do it once around the wrist and once around the index to keep it like X I feel it more secure this way.anyway thanx a lot for sharing this vid.

  • umm, dumb question, but what style hand wrap would be better to use for just hitting a bag? I just do it for exercise...

  • thats awsome bro keep it up!

  • Finally , thanx for the vid, helped me out :)

  • Ohmaha stylee!

  • Thanks a lot guys. Helped me out a lot :).

  • This is pretty much how I learned, but with some improvements. I can't tell if there's a lot of material on the INSIDE. Is there?

  • YOU PPL WHO SHIT TALK YOU GUYS DONT KNOW SHIT YOU GUYS ARE JUST LOWLIFES WHO TALK SHIT THESE GUYS ARE EXPERIENCED AND THEY KNOW WHAT THERE DOING SO FUCK OFF DUMBASSES

  • wrap hands for boxing have many style it is depend on individual. There're are no fix why of saying this is correct or not, but this is obviously not the EFFECTIVE why to wrap your hands. They might have win a fight but you people just judge by their stereotype. I can put my head to this that mike tyson didn't wrap his hand like that...why? coz u can't fit your hand in the glove, the hump will get stuck... you try and see. btw.. I used to box

  • Phuket and Central Bankok represent. Good Vid!

  • Good video, there is no right or wrong way for putting on hand wraps, which ever method is best for you!

  • that guy has the coolest voice and the coolest shirt

  • wow i feel dumb as fuck tryna follow this XD i'll geti t eventually

  • wow, the first part is a Bitch man!

  • @urbaninjas Ya gotta love the keyboard warriors lol. So, the man showing you the wrap has lived, fought and won in Thailand. Talk shit when you have a clue

  • @daddis lol ... that's a good one "keyboard warriors" I couldn't agree more dude. I see that almost in every video specially martial arts videos. and I bet this people don't even have the guts to finish their trining .

  • @daddis Hey great vid man! I like this style of wrapping as it provides padding for the knuckles!

  • @urbaninjas oooh! he pwned your ass!

  • @urbaninjas

Google before you speak. Rigel would punish you.

  • @urbaninjas you... are... smart... derp

  • @urbaninjas shut the fuck up u fat ass troll...u prob play video games all day and hav zits the size of volcanoes and is fat as shit....fuck off

  • @arthur5135 Ya gotta love the keyboard warriors lol. So, the man showing you the wrap has lived, fought and won in Thailand. Talk shit when you have a clue.

Here is another one of our instructors doing a demo on how to wrap your hands. By God if you find something wrong with this, then you are the effing man. The guy is a Lumpinee Champion with over 270 fights. But, I'll bet you know better about hand wrapping;)

  • Type in how to wrap hands for muay thai boxing and you'll see the vid there. Won't let me post link. Don't know why I waste time w/ guys like you anyway.

  • @daddis why doesnt he wrap his thumb? is it better not to or is this just the way he likes his hands done?

  • @daddis haha keyboard warriors..gotta love the little shits right. All armchair warriors. Brilliant upload mate. As a muay thai fighter myself i've noticed theres a rising popularity in the use of MMA open finger style gloves in drills/pad work and bag work in Muay Thai and im quite intrigued by it...what do you think worth a look into??? Any brand you'd reccomend...?? Hayabusa maybe? I usually use Twins Lumpinee 10oz for fighting and Twins pro 12oz for bag/pad work.

  • 95 people don't know know how to put on hand wraps.

  • 311 has Grassroots!!!

  • In 2003 Stephane Alzraa

(Israel) blitzed his latest challenger AbdelKhader Belhadj (Algeria) with a

stunning TKO stoppage 2mins 33 seconds into the first round.

The championship was sanctioned by an independent panel of judges from the French Combat Sports Authority and the French MUAYTHAI Authority.

Stephane Alzraa sported an imposing presence and demonstrated superior

    class from the opening bell.

The event attracted a crowd of 3,000 fans.

  • Beautiful! I needed to know how to get the wrap through my fingers without it coming off. Thanks, this helps a lot!

  • i keep running out of tape =(

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing

  • what about ropes?

  • Awesome video guys & where can I buy the shirt?

  • what about the thumb? thought u were supposed to bind the thumb to help support

  • @bsems1000 These guys are idiots. You're right.

  • old video but thanks for sharing.. awesome help!

  • Noobs...In Turkey,we have the bast trainer,Hayrullah Camadan.He's legend :).

  • @Urunberkay12 noobs? Tell ur bast trainer to put up a vid then. Until then. Go THAT way

  • That guy has a bad ass shirt and the voice to go with it xD

  • whats with the thumb????

  • @BabaBart67 you don't want your thumb to stuck in 1 position.. any martial art will ask you to put ur thumb behind the knuckle or sumtime supprt the middle finger.. just a little out for a KO

  • lol @ his shirt

  • @MrKohlification lol yea so so gotta find that shirt...fucking hillarious

  • i love this way to wrap my hands. it took me about 3 days to learn this well but i got it.

    thankx!!

  • Boy you were not kidding with the first part being difficult!!!

  • eee iss good far good mm i like krl

  • nice one ! ! ! it protects the knuckles and also it hurts the opponent more if he gets punched like this

  • no clue whats up, but my Handwraps say 108", yet it runs out waay too early, no way its 108"...it came with 2 wraps in one roll, so combined the roll looks large like every1 elses, but when I separate them to start wrapping they are like 70" each...pissing me of dont no why it sais 108" on it...
