My late dad had a bit of a thing for Kathy Secker and Lyn Spencer - but Jane, I thought, had nice hair and gorgeous eyes. Haven't seen her for a while in anything - appeared briefly in Corrie.
@arthurvasey haha her hair is tamer these days! she now does voice-over work for radio in britain and abroad, I have searched far and wide for a clip of her in corrie but have yet to find one!
@toastandbutter68 To help you narrow it down - her character was called Cheryl Crossley and she was supposed to be a friend of Susan Barlow/Baldwin - she was a guest at their wedding - appeared in it later on as well. Is she still as gorgeous now?
Someone on an other youtube video claimed that he did have a full episode of lingo, but was worried about posting it with all the copyright issues and so on
even though whoever you are, if your out there please let me know
I used to watch 'Lingo' on ITV. The song in the 'Bella' magazine advertisement is 'Whatever You Want' by Status Quo. There was a game show of the title made by the BBC in the 1990s, presented by former Big Breakfast presenter Gaby Roslin. As for Auf Wiedershen Pet, it started out on ITV in the 1980s made by Central Television but revived in the early 2000s on BBC1.
The date given here is incorrect - I fear you were looking for the day The Bill went twice-weekly, but that was at 8pm. It is a rerun presumably being trailed here. 'Ourselves and Other Animals' seems to have been rerun on Mondays and Thursdays in summer 1988, with 'Auf Wiedersehen Pet' running on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and as the TV Times trailed here is for 18-24 June 1988, I can only assume this is Thursday 16th June. 'Lingo' also ran on Thursday nights, btw.
