He started with $50 in his wallet and got up with $40mil, but when he "lost" $40 it wasn't his money to start with so the most he lost was $50. He's probably had more fun in 5 years than we will ever have in 20 or even 30 years in the "good glamorous" life on earth. there are more important things in life though.

Honest to God I never heard of this guy but here is the reason why gambling for a living Is a bad Idea. Its a terrible waste of ones time and Life. 40 Mill back then is equal to 70 Million today. He isnt the best, Had he saved some of it he would have been the best. The fact he lost everything shows he was the worst. Mad respect for his grace and style though, class act as far as gamblers go.

Classic case of addiction. @thomasmoonman now, clearly the guy have addiction of gambling. It's hard to imagine otherwise if a man playing 500/1000 blinds now are playing maybe 5/10 blinds and still can pull things together. That takes some understanding and gravity of the game. What I didn't like is that we quick to judge others and put a sign on them - You are this and this. Period. While maybe we are not better ourselves and do things far worse than gambling.. think about it, there is couple three things in it!
