this movie is like 4% the detail of that of the documentary and the book. the awesomeness comes in the flashy neon baller life that they are having. ordinary smart kids living the baller life, just amazing to see it in pictures.

People don't realise there is a lot, LOT more to counting cards than this. Also, it's based on a true story but it is altered a lot. There were 4-5 teams all together, and the first team didnt even have an "experienced adult" to guide them, it was just the students. They would have already known everything he teaches them in the movie. His purpose in real life was just to tweak their strategy so they could capitalize. nevertheless, a captivating movie.

Anderson's accent far beats out Sturgess'. Seriously, I thought he was American until I watched an interview with him.

But Sturgess' accent isn't horrible. It's believable anyway.
