  • So I dicked around with "Pimp My Gun" and come up with this (PM'd you).

You'de be better off fooling around with PMG.

  • @Lucidius134 *sees it* It rocks! \8-D

Very close to what I had in mind. Alternatively, it could be based on the AG36 (in which case, it would be hinged in the middle instead of the front and the trigger group and grip would be attached to a frame instead of the barrel assembly).

  • virgin....

  • @FlipGordon breeder....

  • @FlipGordon how the f*** you gonna call a grown man a virgin ? and thats very immature and just goes to prove your the only one thats a virgin!

  • @ZoneVeteran A grown man should really be making tons of 15 minute videos on a video game right? Oh no thats not Immature.

  • @FlipGordon That's completely subjective. "Maturity" by your definition is "lame" by my definition. What's the difference between making videos dedicated to one's favorite game and making videos dedicated to one's favorite music? People of all ages make YouTube videos. We're called CONTENT PROVIDERS. Games and music (and firearms) just happen to be my particular interests so I tend to combine them. An individual doesn't "grow out of" their interests (unless beaten over the head with collectivism

  • @FlipGordon Would you think the same about somebody who plays pool or basketball obsessively? Probably not. You only think the way you do because my obsession is a video game. Sports are assumed to be more "socially acceptable, especially team sports. The only difference between me now and me in, say, the early '90s, is that back then my gaming obsession was Flashback (for Genesis)...and I had a mullet.

    GAMERS FOR LIFE! \8-D

  • @IggyHazard Well Actually, I would think the same for someone who plays Pool or Basketball. I admit I do play video games a lot but im just voicing my well.... loud opinion..

  • @FlipGordon Oh. Well at least you're fair.

One reason I make so many gameplay videos is because I use them as sort of a vehicle for expressing my love of video game music (mostly from the '90s) the same way I use 'WALL-E' as a vehicle for expressing my love of retro music (mostly '80s and early '90s). And for both of these (AMVs or GMVs), it's also because I'm attracted to the whole "we-live-in-a-wasteland-but-we-love-it-anyway" mystique. XD It shows in my taste in games and movies.

  • @ZoneVeteran Technically, he's right. I'm celibate (for religious and philosophical reasons). I am free. Free from lust. Free from envy. Free to do what must be done.

Why does that sound so familiar?

  • Call of Duty 4 made the noobtube famous, so gamers that play those games don't even care since they spent most of the time running and bunnyhopping around and quickscope and noobtube eachother. Call of Duty is made for laymen or for people who don't even care about those details.

  • @Xerxes1688 The fact that it has the lo0k of a realistic military simulator is beguiling. Project Reality unn0obs the "tube." I like how the 40-mils in CoD have realistic arming ranges. I always wished STALKER was like that. But then, you can aim GLs in STALKER (the M-203 is approximated) but you "aim" them halfassed in CoD, so it evens out.

  • @IggyHazard You play PR?

  • @bengacris As in Project Reality? I have yet to try that.

  • @Xerxes1688 First FPS game I played that had a GL was the original Half-Life. Actually, I played through the entire They Hunger trilogy before playing through Half-Life in its entirety. Most of the TH weapons are based on HL weapons. One is a SMG (lo0ks like a mishmash of different guns) with a grenade launcher. A mod for that mod changes that weapon to a Tommygun/M-203 combo. Of course, that "tube" isn't fully functional like the "tubes" from STALKER.

  • @IggyHazard If it's for underbarrel GLs, mine's tied up between Half-Life, Blood 2: The Chosen and Operation Flashpoint, but the first game that I ever played that featured a grenade launcher was The Fortress of Dr. Radiaki. The weapon was standalone and launched hand grenades that exploded upon impact. You couldn't use the hand grenades, even if they looked like so, but being that game as bizarre and oscure as it is, who cares. Also, it was the first one to implement a reload function.

  • STALKER needs the Skorpion! Vz.61 won't cut it though... .32 ACP is way too weak, it's either the Vz 68 (9x19) and/or Vz 65 (9x18). I wonder why it wasn't in STALKER to begin with?

  • @DeadlyMechanic I remember thinking that a couple years ago! Mentioned it on the ZSG forum. Except I thought it should be a Vz.82 (also 9x18mm).

  • @45AgentFortySeven45 Thankyeh! \8-D

  • I hope someone creates something like that for such a purpose, I certainly can't, I CAN however map for the source engine. So I have been getting into more Stalker inspired creations!

  • @callinstead09 I have an idea for a weapon that can replace the MP7 in HL2. It has a 30mm grenade launcher mounted on top with a hinged barrel that swings out to the left like the cylinder of a double-action revolver and has a quadrant sight on the right like a GP-30.

  • @IggyHazard Huh, Now that sounds intriguing! Maybe you can draw that sometime as well. I always thought of how weapons would be modified in the Half life 2niverse, Whether it be garage guns made by the resistance or something overwatch would add to some old military weapon.

  • You can use 40 rounders with the grip. I just did it. I don't know where this misconception comes from.

  • @wolfgoblin Oh, that's g0od! I'll add an annotation.
