In Skyward sword they call the land below the sky, Hyrule when Hyrule isn't supposed to be established until the king of the Hylians makes a treaty with everyone and places the Triforce in a sacred temple so no one can touch it during a great war between the races. This temple is known as the temple of time. Therefore this game is uncanon with the Ocarina series. The only game it might be connected to is Twilight princess.

@poterboy123 They had to have called it something before that though....And it's weird the triforce isn't mentioned. It was created with everything on earth, including the Hylians, at least, that is what's implied. Nothing about the Hylians being in the sky, although there is one girl in a blue dress that says we Hylians are the closest things to the gods or something beyond those lines. Could she be referring to the ancient times of being in the sky?

@jacketron86 Notice Hyrule was already founded by the king in that one. Ocarina happened right before that and link was raised by the great deku tree given to him by Link's dying Hylian mother. Link is also a child so the game begins only 10-14 years since that time

Skyward Sword=Hero of the Goddess

Majora's Mask=Hero of Time (same Link incarnation)

Wind Waker=Hero of Winds

Twilight Princess=Hero of Twilight.

Basically, each reincarnation of Link is a different "Hero of _____"

He was not the hero of time, cause he didn't have anything to do with time-traveling except when he time-traveled back to talk to Zelda (and plant the magic seed thingy). Ocarina Link traveled through time in order to defeat Ganon and save Hyrule, that's why he's called the hero of time. ^_^
