Actually depends on the brain and how quickly, or slowly, it comprehends and understands. I know someone who plays just as good as her and they've been playing for 2 years. They became obsessed and never stopped playing, thus why they are so good! Also, it's never too late to start playing anything lol

HA HA. I live in Boston and there is this guy in the train staition that "plays" the er hu. He makes it sound horrible, he just saws on it like a piece of wood. I just knew, I knew that he had no idea how to play that instrument. I had to do a search to find out what it really is supposed to sound like when played by some who knows what they are doing. Im so glad, it is a beautiful sound. He even has the bow streched wrong LOL
