In UK you can buy this bike Full power (21KW- but actually more like 18.5KW because of new emissions regualations) or Restricted (11KW) My advice would be to speak to a local dealer- it may be that you'll get away withh a full power one, or yo may be able to get a restricted one. I rode my full power one on a provisional licence for two months. No problems.

@alimurison yes of corse. I don't intend to mod my bike, i love her and I'm pretty satisfied with her and it's an excelent moto. The only thing that really misses is that she doesn't go more than 140 km/h and in an highway it becomes very boring. But I like her pretty much though :)

It's also one of the best handelling bikes out there, i'm never selling this. Full power R6 in august next year, ie. 2 years since i passed my test, but the RS is staying. The smaller and lighter a bike is the more manoeuverable it is and hence more fun! If you knew anything about bikes you would understand this, i can only pitty your ignorance :D

Any 125cc bike is good for beginners. But it depends what you need the bike for, how much money you have to spend, what style of bike you have, and how fast you like to go :D

The aprilia is two stroke, and has all it's power at high revs.

The yamaha has a little more power at lower revs, but not nearly as much as the RS at high revs.

no there is not, the change was made at the same time, so you get...

48 and 14k rpm

1 and 12k rpm

but they both rev to just 12k, the new one DOES NOT rev to 14k
