Do not try to use misunderstood scientific ideas to express certainty in your supernatural being. He is unprovable as much as he can not be disproved. CREATIONISTS RIGHT ABOUT ENTROPY. Read this Internet article. Entropy occurs in both open and closed systems. In every transfer of energy some of the energy becomes useless. Given enough time, all of the energy becomes useless and the universe cannot be sustained. Even in an open system, there has to be an already existing energy-converting, directing mechanism to develop order such as when a seed becomes a tree. Spontaneous order from chaos is not possible, not to any significant degree.

Looking at all these comments by TYT viewers I don't see one single insightful point made against Kirk Cameron. Now I personally like the guy I think he's an amazing guy who has a great heart. @tnafguy dating methods are great for exactly what they're made for. Some dont' work for certain situations and that is all. For example, you can't carbon date a dinosaur bone because it's mineralized, but you CAN date the geographic layer where the fossil was found and come up with a very accurate answer that the fossil is millions of years old. Bones will often test to about 3000 years old because of 3000 year old preservative that was rubbed on them. Science doesn't control.

I have reasonable trust in them as I have personnaly tried most of what was in them in labs and up untill now, it matches the theories explained in them. If you had any decent science teacher, you would have had a similar experience as science is not about beliving the text but testing it.

@tnafguy there are many dating methods because things leave different traces over time that can be measures using different methods and they all agree on the results. we don'T chose method based on how we feel. Some methods are more accurate, some are easier to use depending on the situation at hand and some are cheaper to use (yes, things cost money in this society). its not based on doubts but on the situation that calls for a specific method.

Kirk and others tend to make up stuff like that as they go along and it gets repeated. Its like the "missing" link we apparently never found (we found thousands). Also, for the volcano thing, some volcanoes are really old (as is the rocks around where a new one is about to go boom) and so the eruption may be recent, the rocks that flew from it are most likely old.

And if it was so flawed a method, carbon dating wouldn't be used as widely as it is because results based on flawed methods are not acknowledged as good results in peer reviewed documents. And it might be true that evolution is occuring a little faster than we originally thought, it can't be as fast as you imply or we would see it happen today! dinausaurs evolving in months? they would evolve twice before one even died!

You are aware that Evolution believes the evolved form does not exist at the same time as its origin form. Unfortunately some species thought to be extinct products of evolution were found not to be extinct and thus coexisted with the supposedly "evolved" form.
No I'm not aware that Evolution believes that, probably because it's not true. No where does the TOE state that a successful ancestral form which remains reproductively viable could not have descendents more alligned with that form coexisting with more altered descendent forms. That doesn't even make sense, and no it's not evidence against evolution.
@p3rrypm Evolutionary theory does indeed predict that certain 'ancestral' forms can exist simultaneously with the later 'evolved' forms. commonly you will find geographical separation between the two , giving enough time for sufficient genetic drift to occur, allowing for speciation. this creates absolutely no problem for evolutionary theory.

Given enough time, all of the energy becomes useless and the universe cannot be sustained. @tnafguy dating methods are great for exactly what they're made for. Some dont' work for certain situations and that is all. For example, you can't carbon date a dinosaur bone because it's mineralized, but you CAN date the geographic layer where the fossil was found and come up with a very accurate answer that the fossil is millions of years old. Bones will often test to about 3000 years old because of 3000 year old preservative that was rubbed on them. Science doesn't control.

If you had any decent science teacher, you would have had a similar experience as science is not about beliving the text but testing it.

Kirk and others tend to make up stuff like that as they go along and it gets repeated. Its like the "missing" link we apparently never found (we found thousands). Also, for the volcano thing, some volcanoes are really old (as is the rocks around where a new one is about to go boom) and so the eruption may be recent, the rocks that flew from it are most likely old.

There is little to no transitional thing between 2 current animals because (i'm taking humans as example) we do not come from apes, we share common ancestry (and are still apes if you're talking about the whole family and not gorillas for example). also, there is no micro macro thing. everything is always evolving and the sum of small changes over a long period of time results in whales and wolves from the same thing

I don't believe in god because there is zero proof he/she/it exists. Science on the other hand, has lots of proof to back up their claims. They don't rely on a 2,000 year old book of fairy tales.
And there are HUNDREDS of transitional fossils. Religious people always try to move the goal posts when it comes to them. They are out there, just because you choose to be ignorant and ignore them, doesn't mean they're not out there.

You are aware that Evolution believes the evolved form does not exist at the same time as its origin form. Unfortunately some species thought to be extinct products of evolution were found not to be extinct and thus coexisted with the supposedly "evolved" form.

No I'm not aware that Evolution believes that, probably because it's not true. No where does the TOE state that a successful ancestral form which remains reproductively viable could not have descendents more alligned with that form coexisting with more altered descendent forms. That doesn't even make sense, and no it's not evidence against evolution.

@p3rrypm Evolutionary theory does indeed predict that certain 'ancestral' forms can exist simultaneously with the later 'evolved' forms. commonly you will find geographical separation between the two , giving enough time for sufficient genetic drift to occur, allowing for speciation. this creates absolutely no problem for evolutionary theory.
