  • So How Come His Story Has To Do With How to Become a Music Producer ?

  • @IkkyKyuhyunBraveSoul because it shows that 99.9% of music producers have to do a lot of other things before they can really call themselves a producer. you can't just make a couple of beats in FLStudio and call yourself a producer.

  • you are a musician producer ?

  • Hello view I'm rion63

  • Hello

  • I DONT WANT TO SPAM BUT I THINK myy beats are ight and idk how to get feedback by people who know what theyre talking about so comment and subscribe and stuff much love peace..

  • I MAKE FREE BEATS!!! IF YOU HAVE A SONG, THEN IM THE RIGHT PERSON ! SEND ME A MESSAGE IF YOU WANT SOME BEATS ON YOUR SONG!!

  • theres no 2:53 !

  • Wow, that was the most encouraging advice I have heard in a long time. I am a musician and play guitar, bass and keys. I was seriously hurt in an industrial accident that damaged my dominant right arm and hand. My friend encouraged me to take up music again in his little studio. So, I did this little tune and played all the parts and vocals in little over an hour. He was so amazed at how good it sounded for so little time, since his projects take days, as he admits.

    Again, thank you so much.

  • wow! I always dreamt of this :)

  • oh man, if 16 is LATE... I'm 23, and i'd really love to do this in life... hope I can

  • @dust540

  • @7LCRIS7 dude... i just felt this same epiphany days ago too... it's kinda scary because it is a dangerous leap of faith... but been wandering in community college (changed majors 4 times) and i just want a career where I have creative freedom and i'm my own boss... and music seems to be the only avenue open for me..

  • @GaChristianHY best choice to go for, not only for you but also for me ha, but yea,I wish you luck buddy

  • @GaChristianHY I understand, I realized the same thing.. Just ask yourself, can I live the rest of my life without making music? If the answer is no, then go for it!

  • This is the job almost everyone wants and very few people have the opportunity to get. The field is really competitive and since more people can produce their music at home these days, you've got to have something really special to offer in order to attract business. This is why I'm still on the fence about going for it. But, I think I'll still give it my best shot.

  • is their many well paid jobs going into sound and media production and engineering?

  • Hey, We are a growing Production Team, Would you let us know what you think of our beats. Thanks!

  • I'd rather ask Hans Zimmer...

  • @fadcAuTra who doesn't...

  • these days its so easy to make music, everyone should be thankful MIDI WAS INVENTED! THUMBS UP if you agree :)

  • and booya!

  • I want to be a Music Producer..

I already play guitar and drum/keyboard so..

I need a program to record and edit music! Plz help me!

  • @sammielord Fl studio, cubase, reason. google those!

  • @sammielord logic, cubase are the best solutions, the most of producers use them, relly, ableton as well, its for djs with a great recording possibility, but not FL Studio (its too basic) or Reason (more a sound program) if you want to be a producer!!!!!!

    Look at Thomann.de at computer-> sofware-> sequenzersoftware

    some links

    thoman.de/de/apple_logic_studio_9.htm

    thomann.de/de/steinberg_cubase_5_d.htm

    thomann.de/de/ableton_live_8_deutsch.htm

  • @Trickist17 I'd disagree with you there about FL Studio! I use Ableton Live myself, but I've heard some mindblowing stuff come out of FL Studio. Search for the techno producer Egbert (he's on Sven Vath's Cocoon label, amongst others) and I'm pretty sure your view will change about FL Studio being basic!

  • @DangerRifai fl is a musicprogramm, of course you can make music with it and of course the are people, who can make geat music with it.

ive already tested fl (and many other programms) , and i know how it works, so i think fl is to make music, not to make a good sounding records.

but you should take the best programm for you, and i found, logic and ableton are the best ones.

  • @Trickist17 Ah I see. I agree with you there. The 'good sounding records' part comes more from the engineering and mastering, I guess.

  • @DangerRifai FL has the capability of producing good tracks...but i mean why use it when theres better programs out there? Ableton is hands down a better DAW. Anyone who would argue that is crazy. Pretty much every electronic artist utilizes Ableton for some part of their production...can't say that about FL

  • @afiresavesday Why use it? Simple. If it's what you feel you can produce better tunes on, then do so. Ableton Live is only 'better' in your eyes. If anybody took the time to list Live's production capabilities, I'm willing to bet FL Studio could do exactly the same things, albeit in a different manner. The tool is what you make it. And no, not 'pretty much every electronic artist' does that - I know loads that don't touch it - mostly Logic users.

    It's all about personal preference.

  • @DangerRifai I never put down FL studio. I'm just not personally sold on it. Everyone has their own preferences. As far as people in electronic music using it. My point was that "professional" wise aka those signed to record labels whether indie or major use Ableton a lot more than FL Studio, that is an inarguable fact. And yes, most logic users don't use Ableton at all. But I've gotten the feeling that a lot of producers mastering and mixing in Pro Tools do use Ableton as well.

  • @sammielord producers also often use protools, this guy does, its on the left monitor, at the right it ilooks like ableton live, but im not sure :-)

  • @sammielord best opinion go to a pro studio

  • what school did you go to

  • Thanx a lot man!!!! Ur videos are inspiring! All the best!

  • the first video i've seen like this that is actually helpful. Thanks!

  • It kinda sounds like hes gonna say something in the end. But no lol

  • 16 years old is way NOT too late to start music career. That's best time. Not to start career, to start playing. For career is too early in 16.

  • I would love to go to a record producing school but there aren't any in Las Vegas NV.

  • yes there is musical arts institution

  • rjock2

I did see the Arts Institute of Nevada but I didn't know they had a music producing program. I know a few people that are going there for fashion design and they don't seem to think very highly of that place.

  • wow this is sooooo much better than expert village. thanks!

  • If you go to schoool for training as an audio engineer, be prepared to be in for a wake up call after you graduate because it is really hard to get in this industry and even if you get to start work you wont get paid much, prolly get started round 8 dollars an hour.

  • Oh man....I would love to be a record producer. Even and audio engineer but $8 an hour is way too low to live off of. I guess I would have to do it as a second job. I would do it for the love of music.

  • dont get me wrong, if you love it, do it, because im willing to be paid 8 dollars to start off too, because i know eventually they will give you a raise. Its nothing like being in a big studio mixing songs.

  • i don't know where MuddywatersTV get his/her calculations from, but all need to do is get a manager and they'll set you up with jobs and you could get at least$10,000 per track starting off. or you can find work for yourself if you have good marketing and promotion skills, and you can become your own manager.

  • Do it freelance. I make over $25 with some clients.

  • The trick is not to be an employee but start your own music producing business, also it does help to have a po box or rent an office in hollywood

  • whats a music house?

  • House music is a style of electronic dance music initially popularized in mid-1980s discothèques catering to the African-American,[1] Latino,[1] and gay[1][2][3] communities, first in Chicago, then in New York, Detroit, and eventually Europe before becoming infused in mainstream pop & dance music worldwide.
