@bluetheyongshark-- you should absolutely go for the lyn fury it has better sleep time and better handling so that means it will be easier to learn and perform tricks

I just cut the orings down and cleaned the bearing on mine.

The Fury's an awesome yo...a must have in both beginner's and advanced player's collection...makes a great 'go-to' yoyo for taking anywhere.

My lyn fury died. The metal axle screw in part complete detached from the plastic. Great yo-yo but, like most plastic yo-yos, it won't last forever under heavy play.

I just ordered my Lyn fury ;9.. and some 100 % polyester strings to it as i assume you use to ;).. but have you done anything other to your lyn like: clear/lube the bearing or got a new axel or so? or is it completly standart, with a never, string?

you wouldnt be able to do any string trick if the yoyo is dead... it needs the gyroscopic force to keep it in line with the string, if not then the yoyo would twist around..

This is for everyone wondering about the lyn fury. It does require binding 98% of the time However this is far better as this helps with complex and/or long string tricks. For example this yoyo can make splitting the atom, easy I learned it from scratch in 20mins!!

Lyn Fury. I have the LF and the SpeedMaker (the KickSide is a lot like the SpeedMaker) and the Lyn Fury's weight will definately help you achieve longer spin times for more advanced tricks. It's an awesome yoyo. Just watch that out of the box responsiveness :-)

some good starter mods for lyn fury are: flowable silicone (theres a video on it), or shaving the o-rings. Clean the bearing and re- lube with yoyo-jam thin lube or synthetic trumpet oil. Speed and spin time will be way improved and also much less response.

Yeah binds are quite tight if you sillicone both grooves, but siliconing one groove and leaving an o-ring in the other groove makes for better binds ive found.
