What puts Revis over Nnamdi for me is his versatility. He can move all over the field and shadow the opponent's number one guy. Nnamdi plays the strong majority of his snaps on one side of the field. That makes him easier to gameplan against, and easier to avoid throwing at. That will probably change this yr in Philly and we can make a better comparison.
By far the best corner in the game. Too bad NOT getting thrown to was a stat! He is better than revis on his worst day. Being a Raider fan i wsh he would have went to the jets just to see him show up Revis. Revis would get thrown to way more... and that because the quarterback is going to throw at him cause he's not fully blanketing the wide reciever like Nnamdi does. @nogodsexist1 The concept of zone knocked Chris Cooley out of the game that set the tone, got him an INT and yes, growing pains. If you expected Nnamdi to play at a high level from the shoot, you expect to much. He plays more than 4 positions depending on the package of D they dial up.

@MrBanks32 Thats an interesting thought but totally unrealistic...Samuel cannot cover 'man-to-man', he plays 'zones' for a reason. Whats even more interesting is that APPARENTLY Nnamdi has NO IDEA what the concept of 'zone' means. DRC is good but he has his moments...hes slightly overrated. Its true Castillo doesn't know what he's doing, but it isn't his fault NNamdi can't react to a ball thrown INTO his zone...LOL. Pathetic. BTW eagles made a great move to re-sign Vick...morons! Nnamdi Asomugha hasn't given't up more that 10 catches in the past 3 seasons. Revis allows more catches per game, than Asomugha has thrown at him per game. And have you seen those 3 picks this year? @MrPacoStarr one thing you clueless morons leave out from nnamdi's oakland days is the fact that he was lined up on one side of the field, and one side of the field only. he never covered #1 receivers even a QUARTER as much as revis has since his breakout year in 2009. teams just lined up their best receiver AWAY from nnamdi and ignored him the entire game. that explains why the targets were so low. can't do that against revis.

@TheCup963 well after a few seasons of playing, QB's had almost no success trying to pass towards his receiver, and they barely threw the ball in his direction. whoever he was covering was basically out of the play because he RARELY gets more than an arms length away from the receiver. he is one of the, if not #1, top CB's in the NFL right now. i'm not saying your wrong, but thats my opinion, just like you had yours

@gleng825 Asomugha played Linebacker during high school and college, then played Safety for his first 3 years on the Raiders. He switched to Corner when we had a bunch of injuries... and exploded on the scene.

@nojokefyt See Revis's whole 2009 season. He shut down plenty of elite receivers.
What puts Revis over Nnamdi for me is his versatility. He can move all over the field and shadow the opponent's number one guy. Nnamdi plays the strong majority of his snaps on one side of the field. That makes him easier to gameplan against, and easier to avoid throwing at. That will probably change this yr in Philly and we can make a better comparison.

Being a Raider fan i wsh he would have went to the jets just to see him show up Revis. Revis would get thrown to way more... and that because the quarterback is going to throw at him cause he's not fully blanketing the wide reciever like Nnamdi does. Revis gets hype because of the large media market. Now that Nnamdi is in Philly i hope he gets all the credit he deserves.
