  • You take me back to my youth in the '50s, make me weak-kneed. What an era of simplicity. Much of it sucked just like today, but the wheels had charm, something we've lost.

  • What kind of grill is that at 1;28

  • AC/DC \m/

  • Sweet video bro and screamin ass rats as well. But couldn' ya get enough footage in so we could here the rest of the song? Sorry I'm not bitchin its my fav AC/DC tune I had my puter cranked up man. Thank you for the vid, keep up the fine work!

  • You can't buy cool.

  • I lean more towards the traditionaly built rods and kustoms but these are pretty kool.i like the one at 0;14 .i dont like the cars that are overly done with the rat rod thing especially the ones with the huge rake and parts look like they are falling off like the one at 0:06.kool video and thanx

  • If you don't understand, no one is pushing you to understand. These cars are like legends. Every single one of them. Every single one has a story. Every single one has a slightly eccentric owner and every single one is it's own new kind of beast.

  • @HckyFan0001 Thanks

  • @HckyFan0001

    Amen

  • Slideshows are meant to be put on Flicker and not corrupting Youtube!

  • I just don't get it. The look of these cars just looks unfinished. If you want something that looks old, then buy an old car, unrestored.

  • @tlococo99 ever try building a rat? try it some time. ive done a 1950 plymouth.. TWICE, had to redo it after i hit a deer, and unless you can shit 100 dollar bills.. its a lot harder on the wallet then you may think. they may look unfinished but that's part of the mystique that is a rat rod. Unlike like a Trailer Queen that is all shiny and never sees the road unless its backing into the show room, a rat rod is built to be driven and enjoyed not bought to just sit there. dont buy it, build it.

  • @tlococo99 They are suspose to look like that.Back in the day the young kids who built their rods didnt have tons of money for a fancy paint job and lots of flash.they just wanted to ride. this is old school rodding harking back to the birth of hot rodding. Some of these rods may be "finished" one day. some already are.Its all about driving a ride you built yourself and going out there on the street. This is hot rodding at its best. These $20,000 dollars cars are for hot rodding want -a- be's.

  • I like rat rods more than their $70,000 mint condition counterparts.

  • rat rods are street rods on a tight budget. not all of us have tens of thousands of dollars lying around. long live rats!!

  • @brandonlgray1984 even if I did have that kindda money I would still prefer the rat. How bout' you?

  • @ilovepokerguy you know it bro because if i had tens of thousands of dollars i could easily build several rat rods, LONG LIVE RUST

  • Think of an ex war hero showing off all his scars

  • beautiful history going in the trash??? It's a freaking painting of history. Id like to think regular hot rodding is practically recycling compared to this..

  • rat rods are beautifullhistory going in the trash !!!!! its idiots like you that make us pay top dollar for aftermarket while you are destroying it assholeeeee!!! i hope you live to be 100 years old and watch the stupid generation in 75 yrs then you will understand white trashhhh
