  • excellent, never seen, always loved Suzi, many thanks

  • If anyone thinks Suzi couldn't back it up live?!!! Come on. That ol' Pop Show Studio stuff could never keep this one down! Ever! Anthem stuff. How many others were at that stage when any boyfriends mamma surely wouldn't like you? Plenty. Wasn't it fun??!!

  • Love You Suz!...

  • Fan since 1973! :-)

  • Love this album...

  • 青春のロックです

  • what does `Ds`mean?

  • Like her very very very much!!! Thanks for the video from my favourite album!!!!!

  • Crazy bass thump.

  • This is a great song but that said, it's lip syncing. That practice is so common on BBC, and I find it disgusting Mili Vanilli junk.

  • Great to see Suzu struttin' her stuff

  • I really like when she moans

  • Great song and Great album of the same name...

  • OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR YOU TUBE AND MY COMPUTER. I LOVE THIS SONG.I GREW UP WITH SUZIE AND MUSIC IS SHIT THESE DAYS. AM UP ALL NIGHT LISTENING AND DANCING.. THANK GOD~~! QUEEN OF ROCK N ROLL

  • she is the wild one!!! i like her!!!!!

  • ахуенна

  • proper fucking she rocker, they dont make em like this anymore

  • @OnMyGrindDZC Yep she was on that show a few times. Her name was "Leather"

..cousin or sister of Pinky lol..... I can`t remember if she was sister or cousin ,but she did appear on the show ever once in a while.

  • The more I play this song the more I like It

  • My mama likes Suzi. It was her record collection that introduced me to this lady.

  • Wow Awesome

  • My favourite Suzi song! I'm 15 so I wasn't around when she was going strong but I wish I was, I'm so glad I discovered her.

  • beautiful classic that is a rare gem for the lost generrations

  • Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! My all time favourite Suzy song!!!! (Been a fan since 77)

  • @cyox100 - Glad you liked it! Cheers from Brazil!

  • @cyox100 Thanks for posting my all time favorite song..now I can share with my sheltered friends on Facebook!

  • Happy Days :)

  • Suzi Quatro rocks! I do think it's sad that I'm 17 and no one I know, not even my parents, know who Suzi is. Everyone should know who she is. She's a fricking role model, unlike people today.

  • @lestrange001 It's okay... I'm 17 too.. she's my hero... I've met her a few times, and I'm going to again at the end of the month, and all my friends are like 'Who?' Their loss!

  • 懐かしの美声!

  • I can't stop listening to this song!

  • im 13....no one i know really listens to suzi quatro. i just told my friend i was listening to her and she said, "whats tht?" what the fuck?!

  • A friend just showed me this.. and fuck I love it!!!

I'm also female, a bassist, and lead vocalist... looks like Suzi Quatro will be a perfect idol :O Her voice is awesome. Love the gritty tone!!

  • @XelaSteele same here!

    she's the f*ckin best!

  • I hope no pop star will ever cover/destroy this.

  • I fell in love with you when I was 10 - still in love :) What a woman ...

  • hoo!

  • It's a 10.5 on the purple richter scale. And purple.

  • Where's the music today? Man i were born too late, because what did I get ijn my teens? Britney fucking Spears. We need more rock chicks!

  • Hot damn that's a funky bass - awesome

  • Just great!

  • There is no one like Suzi and some might come close. I remember when I first heard her and saw her in TV when I was in high school I taped all the songs from the radio and blasted my parents house...wonder why they always called me a strange girl...Love Suzi in a friend way she is one awesome artist...

  • Suzi Quatro is the Queen of Rock N' Roll

  • @mander317 Nah, Joan Jett is the Queen of Noise, Cherie Currie is the Princess, Ann and Nancy Wilson are the Goddesses. Suzi is more like the Duchess. :p

  • @mander317

Joan Jett is the princess of Rock N' Roll, respectively.

  • 11 people dont like this .... whats wrong with them... I bet they all love lady gaga....

  • This shit owns gaga and cyrus..damn I wish i was around to here this in it's glory days, frekin awesome <3

  • Saw this on TV in the 70s and went out and bought the album the next day! Loved her ever since. This was her funkiest album and she never did this kinda stuff again, but its a great sound!

  • i like those sounds she makes :P

  • My God this is Funky!!! I just wanna dance baby!!!

  • Absolute awsome. I love it!

  • great!

  • i fully wish music was still like this.

not the hip hop rap shit

  • Thanks a million for sharing this!!! :D

  • The problem I have with Suzi is she never stuck with any one particular style of music. She's got a reputation for being a rocker, but she abandoned rock early for pop fame and never seemed comfy in any of these funk, country, bubblegum songs,

  • imy mum tried to ban me listening to this song, probably because i modeled myself on Suzi and this song lol. LOVE IT!

  • Now if someone could find the Shari Lewis tv special verison of this song.. performed by Dr. teeth & the Electric mayhem [-}

  • great funky song!

  • Went to her concert at the Phila spectrum

in 1974--She was awesome-she did a bass solo that was unbelievable.

    Where are you Suzi???

  • way before her time ...............LEGEND

  • She's great. Very Hot and talent and brains. Suzi for Rock and Roll Hall of fame.

  • I've always loved this ROCKIN' FUNK !!!

  • sexxy woman

  • my mamma would like suzi

  • please make that come back, every other fucker has ,or just do an audiance with the one and only suzy q , please tq

  • She was such a fuckin' tight package!

  • Just too fucking cool in every sense....music,playing,style,outfit,band,vibe etc etc

  • Amen, onlyjoetee!! She's so friggin' HOT! And so's the music!

  • So cute, so talented, so real. Was then, and still is. Go girl!

  • simple the best

  • I love it! Veeery good!

  • Simply one of the best<3

  • Love playing this LP extra loud. Suzi Rocks !!!

  • Заводит!!!

  • Could this woman be any cooler?

  • im from the states and love her.. i grew up listening to her...im a pretty huge fan of everything in the uk so i guess it makes scene. Wilty and mock the week are my favorite shows

  • Comment removed

  • such a cool clip.. colours go well n stuff

  • Suzi forever! Cool song

  • She was huge in the UK but she never really caught on in the States. I don't think they were ready for her!

  • Yeah they were 10 years later for Joan Jett.

Drives me crazy when people think she was only a character on Happy Days

  • Yep remember as Leather. No way she doesnt like women.

  • She's not into women.

  • Estoy flipando con esta paba!!!!

    Brutaaaal!!

  • I still have this on vinyl. Anybody remember that Suzi played the part of "Leather Tuscadero" on "Happy Days"? She was the slightly edgy/punky, baby sister of "Pinky Tuscadero", who was the Fonz' girlfriend.

  • 16 is the best time...

all the rest of the time is lookin back

put a 56 in there and then rock my friend

    captainduke71

  • Holy shit!!! She was about 16 years old, or close, when she did this, & it really stands up!

  • She was more like 26 at this time. She was born in 1950.

  • She was actually 25 years old at the time, which makes her 59 now.

  • This is an AWESOME song, this song kicks arse!!! It goes HARD!!!

  • i had this album in 75 ..loved it...still have it lol

most music was underground ..as in no radio play...you heard about it from friends...

  • Very cool. I'm surprised the song isn't covered by more groups today.

  • I'm going to be covering it with my upcoming band Laissez-Fayre.

  • Great name for a band ! :D Though the correct spelling is Laissez-Faire ;)

  • @Jnkdog probably a good thing!! modern groups would probably ruin the song by putting a rap (crap) bridge into it

  • Suzi Quatro and the Runaways were such rock chicks and yet they are *so* under-appreciated.

  • I hear you. A lot of people haven't even heard of either. I'm a teenager and I love this music but I don't know anybody who even knows who the Runaways or Suzi Quatro are. It's quite sad.

  • I feel ya. I got into them in my teens as well. Now I feel special because I know this music and nobody else does :)

  • You're getting off to a good start with your musical culture with this type of music. Good on ya! :)

  • @xbri0432x

Im a teenager also and I love suzi and the runaways and bowie and more music like this its to bad noone does any music like this anymore :(

  • i do heheh im 19 whoo whoo!!!@xbri0432x

  • @xbri0432x Me too(:

im 15, suzi and the runaways are my faves

  • Comment removed

  • @4694382609 they fully are.

im so over like, usher and lady gaga.

    Bring this stuff back!

  • @CaitlinH12345

Suzis father was a conductor and he taught Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin how to play a guitar with a violin bow. But I'm an old guy and I have the record here wher she sings this song but I cant find any date on it.

  • @barra112 The "Your Mama Won't Like Me" album was originally released in 1975.

  • @xbri0432x Same. It gets me annoyed that they say I listen to shit, when I'm listening to Suzi or the Runaways, when they are listening to the crap that kids call music now.

  • @xbri0432x My daughter is 12 and is in a band that does, on her urging, "I Love Playin' With Fire." She's seen the Runaways movie about 10 times. It's all about parenting. :-D

  • @dogfaceboy47 you are aware that that film is rated 15 :P good for her though!

  • @dogfaceboy47 Damn I like your style, having your 12 year old listening to the Runaways when they mostly sing about sex? "I Love Playin' With Fire" is a great song, but they have better ones she could be covering such as "Queens of Noise," "Born to be Bad," "You Drive Me Wild," "C'mon," and"Gettin' Hot." So, yeah, get on that! :]

  • @Omniculler They do so many other songs, and most people are unfamiliar with the Runaways as it is, so I think they picked the best one for their talents. It's on here, I think, if you're inclined. It's on my YouTube channel, and they're the Oxi-morons.

  • shes a baddass

  • fucking.. she rocks. ~

  • Is she the woman in loose women?? what year wa this??

  • thanx for the upload friend! Who cares if my mama doesn't like her. I definitely do.

  • I had the LP The Suzi Quatro Story in '77 and this was my fave song on it.

  • the first rock LP that I bought together with Beatles´ Revolver ...need to say more?

  • When i was just a kid, this was my fave song. my mum had it on vinyl & id pump it big time & dance round the house while the parents were out. Ahhh, memories. Suzies awesome...still is now!! SHE ROCKS!!

  • Oh Suzie Q...

    The original rock chick..

Takes me back to my teens...girl friend on my shoulders.. watching her at the drive...

    Thanks for posting..

  • @berlinaussie You lucky lucky lucky bastard! ;) I wish I was a teen back then. But I was still fluid I guess.

  • AWESOME

  • I bought this album when I was 16, I could have bought 3 of any other albums in the bin for the same amount. I listened to it yesterday and I am still happy with my investment.

  • I used to know a girl who thought that Suzi and Joan Jett were the same person.

  • one of a kind and an original..love her

  • "I had this album when I was 13 years old and this was one of my favorite songs on it. Now 34 years later after listening to it again, it proves that music definitely influences your mindset. I got pregnant at the age of 14."

    Owow .....

You blame Suzi for that? :O

  • awesome!!!thx phil

  • Thanks man, I love his style.

  • SUZI Singing and Groovin like a legend!

Suzi rocks as much as Joan Jett!

But SUZI PLays bass So she wins my heart over JJ

  • Geez she just gives it to that bass eh? Skilled musician...respect.

    Quite a funky song

  • She was bad back then :-) My aunt looked exactly like her and I loved when she played Suzi Q - my aunt's only 14 years older than me.

  • She is the greatest - I saw her do this live and she was awesome!

  • Best Suzi song ever from her best album ever !!!!!

  • But I like her!

  • She looks so cute and innocent in this vid which makes it ironic that she's singing about being a bad girl lol.

  • My mama would (and does, in fact). She was a hard core rocker back then, and Suzi was one of her favourite singers.

  • My mama's not around anymore, so I don't give a damn if she would like Suzi or not. I do!

  • You naughty, naughty boy!

  • Yes, I am. But I can live with it. Naughty feels nice!

  • Man oh man I haven't heard this since I was a kid....and it's even better than I remembered. Thanx...

  • Ditto

  • "My preocupation is making love... aaaahn! aaahn! aaahn!" Ai minha ponte de safena!

  • The voice that launched 1,000 Melissa Etheridges.
