  • Thanks for the video, the instructions on the bottle weren't too helpful. Good job :-)

  • Lol my cat will kill me if I tried to do that to him

  • I want to clean my cat's ears because she is always insisting on me scratching her ears. I am still afraid of using the cleaning solution since my previous experiences of putting ear drops in her ears due to an infection weren't very good ones.

  • That is without a doubt the FLUFFIEST cat I've ever seen! Very hot vet too!

  • Nice and squelchy.

  • I hav a cat named RUDY!!?!?

  • that looks JUST like my cat Henry!!

  • o.0 is it necessary to use the solution?what if the solution enter the inner ear?

  • great video

  • lol @ cat people's cat fight.

  • Why is everybody so put off by pouring things in ears? I pour baby oil in my ears (have pretty waxy ears) and it is not painful or even unpleasant. The point of pouring a liquid in there is to help dissolve whatever is in there. If you just wipe the inside with something moist, that will not dissolve anything other than what you are rubbing. Besides, without pouring liquid, you do have to rub and cats have some really dry things in there that can scratch their ears as you rub - THAT's unplasant.

  • Ok at 1:25 the look on that cats face made me think of two things. One, Snape from Harry Potter. 2, "If you don't get me outta here, I will piss in your laundry"

  • that cat is so gawguss and fury!

  • I am a vet and think these videos are good tools for helping owners to be able to treat their pets - ear drops, tablets etc. Always seek your own vet's advice before starting any treatment, and most vets and veterinary nurses will be happy to help you perfect your technique.

  • Animals' ears clog just like humans. NEVER pour anything into their ears! It could be more than unpleasant- They COULD GO DEAF! Please do NOT follow this very irresponsible video. Leave it to the professionals to do that only in emergency health situations.

  • @1tingMor I'm sorry but you have no idea what you're talking about. You HAVE to squirt stuff into their ears, either a product made for pets ears or some kind of oil. That is the only way you are going o get wax and other gunk out of their ears and help get rid of ear mites. You can't shove a q-tip down there, there is no other way. If you don't clean their ears then you aren't a responsible pet owner, pet's ears bother them when wax is trapped in there. Any vet will tell you to do this.

  • @xxviciousbeautyxx Please don't tell me what I know or don't know. I know that you must clean cat's ears, that's a given. You do not do that by pouring liquid into their ears, UNLESS like I said it is an ER situation which should be handled by a pro if poss anyway. It clogs their ears, & they just try to shake it out anyway. Both animals and humans have ear drums; do you like when something gets in your ears? There are more apropriate videos out there, do your research and THINK for yourself.

  • @1tingMor Then don't post comments on here if you don't want people to respond. Thanks but I have done my research and have heard from actual vets (which by the way most vets actually sell ear cleaning liquid for owners to buy). Are you a doctor or vet? Exactly how are you supposd to clean pets ear then? You can't just wipe around the top, you have to be able to clean the inside of their ear to get al the wax out. JUST like humans have to do that. Doesn't bother me when water gets in my ears.

  • @xxviciousbeautyxx I can see why.

  • @1tingMor Well, are you a vet? And it's not as if she is taking a pitcher and pouring something in, and theres a vet who commented that this was a good video, and you talk as if she is pouring a gallon of liquid in the cars ears, she only put in a few drops.

Cat's ears can get filthy, and it is for uncomfortable them, and that doesn't exactly count as an emergency worth the ER, and why fork over about $10 every time you clean them, more over, if a cat has ear mits, YOU HAVE TO SQUIRT Stuff in.

  • Thanks! Just the information I needed!

  • I'm too scared to clean my cat's ears. Every time I look inside his ear it looks like the inside of a walnut. So gross.

  • Thanks for this vid! Have had cats on and off for a few years, have 3 now. One is a recent pound rescue who is the first of mine to have perpetually gunky ears. Vet said at the time of adoption that it wasn't enough to be too concerned, but I think I'll start cleaning all their little ears more regularly just as a preventative.

  • Lol the vet did this to my cat in front of me... I got the solution all over my face..

  • LOL the cat is like "BITCH, GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!!!"

  • Sticking pointy things in any living creatures ears is a dangerous thing. Better to use some damp gauze on your baby finger or LEAVE IT TO A PROFESSIONAL to due ....geesh!

  • cats like this is the 5th takes im sick of thios l0l!

  • **gets in line for an ear cleaning** smiles

  • Very informative and extremely well presented - thank you!

  • the cat staring at the stuff. lol fat cat lol

i watched a diff video after googling... a vet used 'gause' and wet that. not poured it in.

but best advised.. when u pick up the solution, ask or read instructions.

would you pour stuff in your ears??

  • this is the best cat ear cleaning video i've seen. thank you!

  • cat: what the fuck is in my ear?! 1:46

  • Ok Shut Up! Shut Tell Us How To clean The Ears! Haha Ugly Cat! Awesome Eyes!

  • @sorryurgay21 Heyy You Dont Say that!lol

  • i'd let her clean my ears anyday

  • thats one fat cat

  • Thanks a bundle, that was great and you are so cute!!

Now what about ear powder, how much of that should you put in afterwards?

  • Thanks for this, I've always wondered what the best way was. I have tried q-tips, but it's not easy, and I normally just give up. I've shot hydrogen peroxide down my cat's ears before, she doesn't like it, but it doesn't seem to hurt her. Her ears stay dirty, and that bothers me, bc my 12 year old calico past away a few months after a bad ear infection that caused her blood vessels to pop and cauliflowered her ear.

  • @xstarunitx this is 5months late, but dont use q-tips in your cats ears. even when that failed, putting some other solution isnt the best. maybe you'd of learnt something when your cat died from ear infection. like, how to prevent it. im sure a vet would of told you!

  • that cat is growling if nobody notices that!!!!

  • What kind of cleaning solution do you recommend, should I just get one from the pet store?

  • british kattooo :p

  • lol buntooo:P

  • can i use a napkin besides a cotton ball?

  • That's great advice thank you. Sweet kitty.

  • God I love that british accent!

  • In the video you describe how to insert the ear cleaning liquid spout into the cat's ear "perpendicular" to the ear but the video show that you insert it 'parallel' to the ear flap.

    Please explain.

  • thats a awsome kitty

  • thanks, i was looking for a video to help me but most of them dont show it so clearly so useless.

  • What solution do you recommend?

  • thanks! now i have to start cleaning my cat's ear!

  • just the one?!

  • The cat is like " get me the hell out of here"

  • look at the cat lookin at the bottle like"what you bout 2 do with dat" lol

  • lol listen to how pissed off the cat is

  • Cat looks adorable (double-entendre)

Thanks! You've no idea how much my little bastard is going to appreciate his wax-free ears.

  • poor kitty.... but its for its own good...

  • Charlie is a gorgeous feline!

  • That cat is so cute. I want one like her

  • Wow.... you are hot, british, and a fricken vet........will you marry me?????

  • Wow, Charlie is so good! I'm going to have to sedate my cat to clean his ears. He's a sphynx (hairless), so he has filthy ears...but he flails, scratches, screams and just wont let anyone near this middle ear. He's so strong that my vet & 2 assistants couldn't properly clean his ears, even though they wrapped him in a towel. I was watching them, and they really tried the best they could; but it was impossible!

The vet has given me a sedative so I can do it at home.

    Thanks for the info!
