I made the pop filter myself out of a wire coathanger and a stocking. Lol. :)

There are many good Mics on the market, and a lot of music shops will sell them, or you can search for them online. The connection you want on the lead is a Small Jack (or an adapter to a small jack). I use an AKG mic, Though Rhode is pretty good too :)
