I remember the first time I watched this stand-up routine, this part about life being a ride, really stuck with me. Back then, it really made me sad...I literally lied in bed thinking about it and crying...but now it doesn't make so sad. I take life as it comes and I have Bill Hicks to thank for that. Truly a remarkable individual. I miss him so much...Rest in peace Bill.

As a spiritualist, I find the way he expresses a perception I hold as true, truely awesome.
You have all these ''Spiritual Teachers'' and ''Gurus'' and although I am able to understand what they speak of, Bill could say it in ways that most people that were not Spiritually orientated could understand.
It's just my experience, but realizing that life is, as Bill called it ''Just a Ride'' has brought me lasting Peace and Happiness, and I wish that for all.
