  • titanic + 3d = awesome!

  • Behold Titanic in all her glory!

  • This makes it seem like there is so much hope at the beginning!

  • I love this song! It reminds me a lot of the beginning when it's played. I love the beginning, so much hope and joy ^^ not like the truth that happens. But truly a happy moment in time.

  • Thumbs up if you're excited for the re-release in April in 3D

  • Who want to see a gymnast perform a floor routine to this?? Obvously it would be cut down to fit in time. If it is 90 seconds, that would be perfect, it slows down around that point, so I am sure they could work with it.

  • One of the few movies that made me cry..

  • best soundtrack ever!

  • What a happy and jovial song. I really love this kind of music. It just makes my day, everyday. Thanks to my abang for introducing this song to me.

  • nice

  • Best music and best movie ever.

  • this movie is my favourite i cant belived this happend :(

  • TICKETS TO THIS 3D MOVIE WILL BE MY 2011 CHRISTMAS AND 2012 BIRTHDAY PRESENT<3

  • @PrincessAunree i can't wait for the 3D, definately going to see this.

  • If you have a good ear (unless you have seen sheet music for this) you will notice that Horner has subtly inserted some minor chords in this song (as well as others), and that was probably choice he made to perhaps indicate the "in the back of your mind" concept that you know the ship is going to sink, or that something is going to go wrong at some point. Overall, the song is major though, and mainly focuses on the grandeur of the ship.

  • @djmordigal I'm not usually one to pick fights, but your comment (not you as a person) strikes me as remarkably stupid. Minor chords aren't rarities reserved for fear, sadness, or foreboding, they're as vital a part of tonality as major chords. Virtually every piece of contemporary music (regardless of genre, function or key signature) has nearly as many minor chords as it does major ones. Saying minor chords are "subtly inserted" is like saying air is subtly breathed.

  • @BennyGamms It was merely my musical interpretation. I'm by no means an expert on music, so thank you for correcting my stupidity with your intellectual snobbery. I'm sorry that you have to be so arrogant though, because you can certainly be a much better person than that.

  • @djmordigal Aw, come on! Let a guy get his kicks! I'm totally, like, right and everything. Doesn't that count for something? Okay, I'm sorry. I'M SORRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY. ::throws self off bow of Titanic::

  • "Take her to sea, Mr Murdoch. Let's stretch her legs".

  • downton abbey sails on titanic film be good

  • I am currently writing a Titanic script to make it a movie one day. Of course, with the help of Full Sail University and New York Film Academy, I'll be a director. I'll try to make it as sad as possible.

  • @sacramentolove

Are you sure you can do it?

  • @630mrblue Yes, I'll do my best. It involves like 4 main characters not 2. And on the cover, I will put in a corner "Inspired by James Cameron's Titanic".

  • ..Titanic 3D in theaters April 6th 2012 :)

  • ..James Horner, Braveheart 1995... Titanic 1997.. BRILLIANT :)

  • james horner...great composer...

  • I'm just trolling

  • @ZanzibarNAU I applaud you for your honesty, sir. :)

  • i can see the statue of liberty already! very small of course : ) im the king of the world!!!! wooooo

  • this song plays when Chuck Norris wakes up in the Morning

  • this song shows you that people were so excited about going on the largest moving object mady by man kindbut little did they know of what was to come

  • Bert Cartmell: It's a big boat, huh?

Cora Cartmell: Daddy, it's a ship!

    Bert Cartmell: You're right.

  • it instils and reinforces our trust in some external force that keeps giving all the positive results, no matter how seemingly negative things turn out to be (like the death of ship in this case)

  • this song creates such optimism

  • @mrssromero ...how true !!!

  • This makes me think of the prosperity of coming to American that they must have felt, headring all of the stories and tales and feeling hope to start a new life, whilst this song is powerful and titanic, it fits perfect for a set sail to a new country :D

  • if there was a ime machine i would stop the iceberge from hitting titanic

  • @TheLamaguy89 more like the titanic from hiting the iceberg

  • @tiagandremo Yep...

  • @TheLamaguy89

Great Scott its called the "Flux Capacitor" lol

  • @TheLamaguy89 Not a good idea, theres one generally accepted rule about traveling to the past...CHANGE NOTHING, if you change somethng in the past who knows what it could change in the present or the future...sad as it is, saving Titanic could have potentially devastating consequences for us in the present.

  • @Rammstein0963 Alright mate I get you thanks.

  • @TheLamaguy89 Sorry, I dont mean to sound condescending or anything, just trying to illustrate my point, I too would like to change many things in the past, but I also know its too risky to try even if it were possible

  • @TheLamaguy89 Sorry, I dont mean to sound condescending or anything, just trying to illustrate my point, I too would like to change many things in the past, but I also know its too risky to try even if it were possible

  • MAN! I love this movie so much that i wanna die to remember it :(

  • Thumbs up if this movie made you cry. :'(

  • @MrBlackmamba89 this movie brings my tears every time I watch it, and I watched it at least 15 times

  • "Take her to the sea Mr. Murdoch, lets stretch our legs" "very good sir"

  • this played when a really cute girl kissed me at my school. :)

  • @swanethecat this happened to me in middle school.

  • As beautiful as it sounds, the voices sound like a MIDI file.

  • @Atheneastro That's because they are synthesized, James Horner and James Cameron both wanted to use the synthesizer for the vocal parts. It makes it sound more interesting in my opinion.

  • James Horner is an incredible composer!

  • "Take her to sea Mr Murdoch. Lets stretch her legs"

  • 2 years till TITANIC 3D. Can't wait. My favourite film is TITANIC and 2 watch it in 3D.... Amazing! <3

  • Ok so i'm going on a cruise this summer, and right when the ship takes off, I am going to the very front and I am going to listen to this on my i-pod......it's going to be epic

  • @zblamm2121 i wish i was you.......

  • @justinikkifeb14 :( this will be my first cruise..have you ever been on one?

  • @zblamm2121 Umm...You're going to need an iHome or something, because iPods regularly aren't too loud on a big cruise.

  • Is that song when they have sex in the car? cause if it is im going to use it right now on ma mate. shot boys

  • @silai20seconds NO this is where old rose has her first flashback and everyone is boarding the titanic in southampton

  • Can you believe we can see this once again in the cinema?? ^0^

there will be music will sound even more harder through our ears...3D Titanic will own Avatar completly..^_^

    Soundtrack for the win..^^

  • @cliff1572 What are you saying ? We can see this again at cinema ?

  • Comment removed

  • @Efilzeo yes, yes we can, and im going on the anniversary of the sinking, april 15, 2012, 100 years after the sinking

  • @Efilzeo hell yeah in 2012 titanic sank a hundred years ago so james cameron is making 'TITANIC' in a 3d version

  • @ketelaarproducties10 I can't wait. My favourite film! <3

  • @iceblue345 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @iceblue345 HAHAHAHAHA :P yup.. i love Titanic..

  • take her to sea mister murdock, she may stretch her legs!

  • I can't belive one group of people could make so beautiful music

  • Well Said your not the only one.

  • 1:10

IM THE KING OF THE WORLDD!

  • I love the synthesized choir in these songs. It correlates between the ship, which was extremely modern/advanced for its time, just as synthesized choir is somewhat modern for this time, when the movie was released.

  • @BandGeek6241 Good point. Everything about this movie was ahead of its time which is why it's in AFI's top 100 for greatest movies of all time.

  • @BandGeek6241 I totally agree. Another nice touch is how the choir sometimes takes quick, sharp breaths, like steam exhaling.

  • This song in particular really catches the feel of Titanic in my opinion. It's beautiful, powerful, yet has this hauntingness to it... I can't even tell you all how MUCH I have been listening to this one song... It even brings me back to being a 10 year old kid when this movie first came out!

  • @jimbodiced december of 97..... i remember being at Sears and it was filled from top to bottom shelf...... i still have that VHS (2 of them) i remember when my mom let me watch it that morning and then at the end i cried and ran up stairs to my room. cried myself to sleep that night......... really.

  • @jimbodiced Very smart comment, i agree 100%. It is such a beautiful piece of mastermind work. James Horner desrves his globes and academy awards. He has made some of the best music ever on the Earth. This movie on the other hand desrves to be put in the hall of epicness. James Cameron can go to his grave knowing he made some of the best movie ever made. (Titanic, Terminator 2, Aliens, and Avatar.)

  • @jimbodiced Yes, all of the amazing work put into this. All of the scenes, music, and romantic parts, and haunting parts come togethor in a beatiful way, it takes your mind away into an outstanding experience where your thinking about all of the stuff happening in the movie at once.

  • Alright Mr. Murdock.. Lets stretch her legs.

  • Alright Mr. Murdock.. Lets stretch her legs

  • this is so mesmerizing, makes me wanna get on a giant boat go to the front, and do the flying thing,

  • My great-great grandfather was one of the musicians on the Titanic. I wish I could have gotten to meet him....

  • @fallonhadley which one

  • @Davis4037 The violinist

  • @fallonhadley Know way Thats so COOL! having somone like that in your family history. Wish i could have meet the guy.

  • ah holy fucking shit , this music is fucking brilliant, I remember it was from scene when jack was looking down on jumping dolphins, James Horner thumb ups!!

  • @Arkinko1 Actually, no. This track is from the scene where Titanic leaves port and goes past the sailboat in the harbor. The scene where Jack looks down at the dolphins is on 6/16 on the soundtrack "Take her out to sea, Mr. Murdoch." I don't think that the soundtrack is in the exact order of the movie either, because track 5 according to this set is where Jack and the Italian guy run toward the ship from the pub, IIRC.

  • the 2 people drowned and consequently missed the like button...they have no feelings!

  • James horner really knows how to make the movie come alive with this soundtrack, the movie wouldnt be as goos as it is without this incredible score

  • I will watch the first half of this movie just for this song.

But once the sinking starts, my stomach tightens.

  • I'm pretty sure I remember all the lines to the movie, they're all so memorable. I first saw it when I was like 8 and it was the first time I heard the words "shit" and "bastard"

  • FINALLY someone who's also in my shoes lol People ask to listen to my ipod once in a while and i tend to find myself in an awkward situation .. lol "Not because i dont trust you but because i have ALOT different kind songs, please dont mind" :P

  • "titanic was called the ship of dreams.....and it was...it really was"

  • ...sometimes I wonder, How could anyone compose theme like this. It's a work of a genious.

  • @mango119 Composing is all about discovering mate.

  • @Zulhino ...indeed

  • "daddy, it's a ship!"

  • sounds like Christmas and romantic song

  • I love this song. I listen to it every day and I simply don't get bored of it. Truly I'd the greatest song of the soundtrack. It expresses how great and big it was the titanic. James Horner and James Cameron are both artists.

  • The film was so good because of the music, like every other classic film, they go hand in hand, you can't have one without the other

  • sounds like angels singing

  • Ah I was hoping I could find this song. I'm a 22 year old male about to upload this to my ipod.

  • This is my favourite piece of music from the movie besides the Celine Dion song. Love it! XD

  • take him to the sea!

  • @roxxyy19 Take HER to sea, a ship is always a female

  • @roxxyy19 yeah, a ship is a girl.

  • Greatest song on the soundtrack.

  • @Monkeychild41 I agree. This was my absolute favorite

  • when it is re released.. im going to be so happy ill have to see it about 5 times at the least!!! ahhhhhh leonardo dicaprio

  • i love listening to this soundtrack it always puts me in good mood, and soo mesmerizing, ten times better than all that crap on itunes top 100

  • @hannahMEcheer I feel the extact way about this :)

  • L'inizio di un sogno,anche se tragico,si realizza :D

La prima parte mi è piaciuta davvero tanto!

  • this soundtrack prints the grandure of the Titanic in your mind, amazing piece.

  • I mean, the HOPE felt in the second track, the RUSH of the vocals is just BEAUTIFUL... makes you wanna cry. I remember the first time I saw the movie was with two close friends of mine who were shocked I hadn't seen it before... I was SOBBING (like... SOBBING harder than I've ever cried) at the end, and they were like "You okay?" and through chokes I was like "y-y-y-yEEEESSS" and it was so great.

  • hearing these really brings you back to Titanic itself!

  • southhampton my favourite titanic soundtrack music !

  • @journalistgirl07 mine too.. when the film finally gets into the story, amazing piece of music

  • IN-CRE-DI-BLE music

  • respect at 2:50......

  • I absolutly love the Titanic. I wish I could of seen it for real but not be there when it sank :/ Apparently in 2012 their doing a cruise to the spot and time when it sank. I so wish I could go just for that bubbly feeling of it. I'd probaly take this soundtrack with me. It would feel magical.

  • 1:12 ¡¡soy el rey del mundo!! wuuujuju wuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!

  • ITS FAKE CHOIR! OMG it sounds really bad...its synthesized and sounds heaps like Book of Days from Enya....

Its really bad. there are some good songs on the album but this is not good

  • @MichaelRayne OMG!! I know right?? I commented on another video about that. That's so fucking disappointing! Highest grossing movie of all time until Avatar, and the dude was too cheap to get a real choir??? I can HEAR every key he presses on that MIDI keyboard!

  • @BigKnobInYourFace James Cameron already spent a record breaking budget on this movie, so it would be understandable if he used a keyboard synthesizer. And he is probably the least cheap man out there who's not in poverty. And that really pays off.

  • @IlersichProductions

    Apparently he didn't spend enough.

  • @BigKnobInYourFace If $4 Billion isn't enough for you, what is?

  • @IlersichProductions Well in this case, it seems that perhaps $4000010000 would have been a more suitable number. Regardless of what kind of comments you make to stick up for Mr Horner there, the fact of the matter is that the "choirs" in this song are absolutely terrible.

    Run along now, boy.

  • @BigKnobInYourFace I agree the choirs aren't the best in the world, but it's still a good song, it just had some room for improvement. Can we agree on that?

  • @IlersichProductions Such is the case for many songs. I can totally agree on that :)

  • ive seen this movie too many times! i know exactly where the music fits in with the actors lines and every move haha. brilliant movie, love it =D

  • titanic has the best soundtrack ever! i love listening to good movie soundtracks. screw RnB!

  • Haha I do that too. I have music from like aladdin and the little mermaid :)

  • im king of the world

  • "I can still smell the fresh paint" (not exact quote, but if there's any words from the movie I remember, it's those. Idk i can imagine how she felt thinking back on being on board such a magnificent ship, where the smell of fresh paint would have been in the air..havent seen movie in so long though...

  • juste wow !!!

  • james camron is a legend i thort he could never make a better film than titanic then he pulled avatar out the bag which is an amazing movie

  • this song gives the grandness of the titanic in the film

  • god that james cameron guy makes good movies and god that james horner guy makes great songs!

  • Dieses Lied passt so gut zum Anfang es zeigt perfekt die ganze Pracht des Schiffes1 Ich liebe die Songs für Titanic und danke fürs hochladen. am liebsten hab mich aber never an absolution :)

  • awesome . this song is wonderful , very very beautiful

  • favorite one

  • i love this

  • beautiful song

  • I had this on my iPod for months! But then I thought people would tease me if they saw it so I deleted it. But they dont know I listen to it every day on YouTube....hehe! And the same with the song "Rose" xTitanicx

  • I put embarressing stuff on my ipod all the time. I have like tracks from Disney's Hercules and Mulan and i'm getting the CD of The Prince Of Egypt soundtrack

So just put it on your ipod if this is what you like because who cares what anyone else thinks right? =)

I will deffo be purchasing this on itunes soon.

  • @ConverseAndMusic same here hahaha and my friends make fun of me and i'm turning 19 lol

  • @redeyezdevil hahahaha I'm 17 and they just kinda ignore it now but I do get REALLY over excited when I find old soundtracks from movies i used to watch as a kid and i'm all like "OMG LOOK AT THIS AMAZING SONG!!!" and it turns out to be something like 'Eloi' from the Time Machine... *facepalm*

    xD

  • @ConverseAndMusic

i do the same and i think its not embarressing :) because you like what you like :)

  • @ConverseAndMusic Dude, I have "I Won't Say I'm In Love" from Hercules on my iPod, and I REALLY want the Titanic soundtrack on my ipod as well. :D

  • @JayBird4theW1N I saw a double CD of the Titanic soundtrack in a shop earlier! So i'm happy about that. =D

I love the Muses from Hercules they're so awesome.

  • @ConverseAndMusic I love the way you think with your taste in music because I'm a 21 year old guy who puts WHATEVER catches my ear on my i-pod whether my peers like it or not and I especially love 90s music!!!!

  • @PopCulture20 Thanks so much =). I'm currently really into the 'Time Machine's' soundtrack. But I really do think that you can't help what you like in music. Music isn't there to please your peers its a personal choice and i mean no one's gonna see it when you listen to it on your ipod so why not?

I listen to the 'Prince Of Egypt' soundtrack quite a bit and Mulan and the Hercules soundtrack. I love that old Disney vibe. =D

  • @ConverseAndMusic why when i can just transport it to itunes by going to dirpy.com

  • @ConverseAndMusic whats the point of living this life if you are not gonna do what pleases you!!!

  • @ConverseAndMusic i put stuff like this on all the time i have soundtracks from quite a few kids films aswell that are good like land before time as they are childhood memories and remind you of good times :)
