The old Hst's were so loud, going through Nailsea every 5 minutes. The newer Crosscountry's and 125's have become alot quieter. So thats good :)

yeah but the pendolinos ran the west coast, and virgin still has the west coast franchise. They only lost the cross country, and that was run by voyagers/super voyagers. not pendolinos.

New Rolling stock not living up to expectations is not limited to the UK.

Amtrak's Acela does not even compare reliability wise to the older AEM-7/Amfleet trains.

In my travels to the England I can say I miss the Class 90's, 87's, 86's, and of course MK2 & MK3 coaches on the West Coast Mainline.

However I don't think the Pendolino Class 390's are that bad. I still enjoyed riding on them.

they brought in the pendos and voyagers/supervoyagers and said "look we've completely got rid of the need for locomotive hauled trains!" but of course part of the route the pendo takes has no overhead cables, so they had to buy a load of 57s.

that is beacuase the 141,142 and 143 classes were based around the design pn the leyland national bus, so sometimes they are refered to as buses no wheels, no one likes them

but as i clearly stated, there are no more HST's in virgin trains colours!

and living next to a main line which consists of many hst's operated by first great western, i thought it would be sensible to add footage of an hst (valenta) passing by!

and also, during the summer months of the last 2 years, virgin have hired hst sets from GNER, Midland Mainline and First great western.

so i think this statement clearly supports why i added a "first great western" hst in the video!

Yes but they are rebuilding all of its stock and both the mk4s and mk3s are better than voyagers that are 5 coaches to short , A company dosent have to have new stock for it to be a good oporator!
