  • How Much will it cost to get a pre built one because I love rc planes but I'm only 14 :( and I live in the uk :'( where I live I can only get £20 foam planes that don't last a minute

  • @rasor2k9

Go to RC groups and do it yourself. There's a lot of places to buy premade (RTF or ARF) planes, but I don't know of any in the UK, nor trade laws with places like China or the US. RC groups has a lot of experienced folks who would be more than happy to help you out. 20 £ of blue foam will last years, and you can get fantastic electronic prices on Hobbyking (Hong Kong, so import should be fine). Just remember to buy decent stuff the first time, or you'll end up spending more later on.

  • Dave make one big old and fast airplane and upgreate it with airsoft machinegun.

  • *like brewster F2A

  • Any more free ones coming out?

  • so i got the plans and they DEFINTELY do not fit on just one piece of foam

  • SWEET!

  • i just saw a video on here of the prototype monster jet from grayson hobby a 36mm diameter motor. 2400kv on a 3 cel. the people testing it had it on a f117 with a very boxy front end and with a 7x5 prop they had the plane going just over 90mph. was wondering if u guys got one of these to test? id love to see your t50 blow the doors off the f117 they were using.

  • Wow i got mentioned! I'm gonna power this sucker into the statosphere! But i think you meant Jcrankshaw ;-)

  • Yeah, let's get some raw vids! :D

  • do u guys have any "slow stick" type planes?

  • Shold I get a plane or helicopter ?:))))

  • @codinnorway Have you tried them both on a simulator?

  • this channel isn't what it used to be. what happened to the fun videos of flying planes into trees and experimental VTOL experiments?

  • Thumbs up for flying videos...

  • that idea of the servos is actually incredible! I never thought it could be done with 2 servos, i was expecting 6!

  • Cool deal... Yall Rock...!

  • Very nice job. The plane looks like a lot of fun. And for those who observe that the video is a commercial, or contains a commercial, I can only respond, "So? What's your point?" RCPowers is a commercial operation. It ain't the United Way, and it ain't the Department of Agriculture.

  • @NOLAMarathon2010

You think? I have purchased all that they offer. Every plan, the Ultimate Course, and parts from Grayson Hobby. So I think my support is up there with the most ardent fanboy.

  • did you can gift me this please??? jajajajajajajajaj

  • i dont like this new guy

  • @skyfual hes not a "new guys". hes been with rcpowers for years now designing, building, and flying planes as well as a ton of other work.

  • @skyfual Scott isn't the "new guy", he's been with RCPowers for years and has done RCPowers videos before. He's usually lurking in the background designing planes, answering emails and forum questions. He's done an excellent job with this plane and deserves the limelight on this one!

  • Now I know why I usually don't watch these videos anymore... So boring.

Stop recording the words in the studio, let's hear the field banter again. And while your at it, fly Keith up to Oregon to fly with you Dave, your videos with him are the best ones you ever made.

  • @kwahyttam not dissing scott but i totally and completely agree. We miss Keith. And Val.

  • Nicely done!

  • Impressive...That plane looks SICK!!!! Good job on the engineering, Scott you just keep pushing the limits, can't what for the next one!

  • @maxjosephwheeler it's not engineering

  • @GreenAce92 define engineering and explain why this isn't

  • @JimEdmiston On the issue of whether it is (or isn't) engineering, I tend to agree with you. From the beginning, engineering has always been part science, part aesthetics. Moreover, science does not have to be math and physics. Often it is merely observation, change one variable, subsequent observation, change one variable, etc. Repeat this loop until design objectives are met.

  • @JimEdmiston not to get into a feud here

I suppose I could have termed it "Innovation" of another one's design

He could be engineering the parts to make it as simple as possible, the pieces

Anyways I'll just stop blabbering to save others and myself

  • @GreenAce92 I'll add one thing, there is no math, really involved or study of dynamics it's a foamie rc plane, you don't need to "engineer" it to work... most of these airplanes you could copy, build a test glide version, modify the CG location, chuck it and get the CG location down, then build the powered version.

I am soon to be an engineer myself, and it certainly is not "tack pieces together"

  • Scott has done a great job on this, it's one slick little plane! Fast, maneuverable and those canards give it a very organic feel that makes it a joy to fly. It's definately my new favourite plane.

  • It looks stange with the flaps on the front on it's wings! But it's awesome too!!!

  • Great job let's see some bomb dropping? What about a fpv plane?

  • So every Monday will be infomerical time. There was a time you gave great information now all you do is hawk the "Ultimate RC Course". If you want great info buy, buy, buy. . .

  • i miss the old videos

  • The Other Reviewer guy WAY better. Anywho i am a huge fan of RCSuperPowers Keep the vids coming!!

  • I agree about the freek part, Crankshaw! I haven't seen squat from you on this plane yet! Where's your 90mm 6s EDF version? I know when you do it will be fast. Tried the v1 on 4s- must reinforce the canard/LERX for that kind of speed! The SMJv2 is plenty fast on 3s!

    -F1wanabe

  • Awesome job Scott...but you know I'm the speed freak on the forum!

  • How old is dave ? And is he still married to val ? Plz reply

  • @MrPopracing Dave is 38, and yes they are still married.

  • Interesting and tempting.

  • Wow, Dave's starting to look old there at 0:35

Time flies when you're having fun!

  • NICE!!!!! =0D

  • wow

  • all it needs now is Nitrous starters!

Seriously though, i thought that plywood F117 was fast (the one you shot down with airsoft), but if this thing is faster..... woah.

  • RCSuperPowers aren't the same I'm dissapointed

  • Epic

  • where is the other guy always on this channel?

  • Looks great, O.K. we always get the commercial at the end but that´s O.K. :-)

  • @24262748 i agree

alsot it's a commercial for a self-made product and not some sponsor.

it looks like a good deal too, altho i lack the cash to get back into RC right now =/

  • Cool!!!

  • why'd you guys keep recording and speaking into the mic... Can I please see your faces and you speaking into the cam?

  • uh is your voice different

  • Pew pew pew!!! Fast like LASER!!!

  • I dont think its a good idea to fly a super manourverable plane super fast

  • finally, something extremely fast

  • @Dcomicboyisback I make a ff-bullet plane from rc foamfighter in 4s we catch it at 101m/h

  • @garfl911

O_O wow. i might have to look into that

  • Wow thats nice! Might build one when i get a hang of this hawk sky you reccomended!

  • Hi scott, cool looking plane, nice job, there is my next build sorted ;-)
