Well, I know that after the Red and Yellow saga, the artist was replaced by someone else, so the Gold/Silver/crystal saga has different art style. besides that, I don't think there is a deference. @MetaKnight640000 It really is an awesome song, but it was added for the English release of the anime, so it isn't on the soundtracks (which are based on the Japanese version). The English versions often have music in places the Japanese ones are silent, and sometimes tracks are changed for new ones. I don't thinkt he English songs hae been released, which is a shame, as some are very good.

No one knows what LV Pikachu is -.- If your talking about the battle between Pikachu&Snivy then there was a good reason why Pikachu lost: Pikachu was weakened and lost its electric attacks for some time in the episode and Trip's Snivy was most likely very skilled. No one knows what its LV is either, not even "LV 5"
