  • Um sorry, scratch my last comment. I have several slots in the back of my VCR (Line 1 cables, DVD/VCR out, Compenent/Progressive Scan out, and Audio out) then I have the everyday plug in slots for my wii cables in the front. Whenever I hook my Aiptek up with the AV and hook the three cabels into ANY set of slots, only these options appear on camera LCD screen: Headphones/AV out.

AV out wont work in recording my wii!!! Please help me!!!

  • Hi, um, I have a different model of Aiptek, and it ONLY has AV out. I've tried EVERYTHING to get it to record my wii so I don't have to buy a Dazzle or Capture card, but to no avail. Since I've tried everything, I'm ready to just give up and forget about this feature. But I still held onto a glimmer of hope and I want to know if an AV out on my camera will work? I seriously doubted it.

  • Now i have have that cable. I can't believe it was that easy this whole time.

  • does it work on aiptek ahd125?

  • WOW. After years of owning this camera, I was finally able to start recording TV shows because of your tutorial. THANK YOU SO SO SO much for your brilliance! I can't even tell you how much it's appreciated!!!! <3

  • Nice job dude. I have a jvc camera that only has av out, but it does have the firewire port. It says in the manual that you can record from another unit but the other vcr or dvd would have to also have the firewire or dv in/out port. So if I can find a vcr with that port id be in business. with a dvd Im sure all would copywritten and you couldnt record from it anyway. I wonder if dvd recorders also play dvds

  • Hey dude, will that work on my Flashcam samsung c10?

  • Hello Craizen great video I was just curious what model is your Aiptek camera? Did you get the A-HD or Action HD Camera or is it one of the cheaper model ones?

  • hey thanks TraumaCaspian, the camcoder im using is a "A-HD+ 1080P High Definition Camcorder". I think its a cheap one, cost only about $175.00 with tax. Hope that helped! :). i got it from bestbuy.

  • Ohh...hmm I was wondering....

  • Cause I want to record my Games can you please help you said something about connecting to game system. Please

  • @Craizen what about Samsung

  • i dont have a vcr so is there anyway else i can do it

i do have a dvd player though not recorder

  • Looks like a super easy video and I was just curious, does this work with any camera? or only Aiptek as I have a JVC camera and the majority of videos I have seen on how to records games/tv always have a whole lot more wires then what you have, thanks if you get back to me.

  • i believe it should work for any camera that has the function. I would suggest looking at the owners manual to see if you camcorder has this function. OR if you want to check on the camcorder, just look for an input that says "AV in", if you have that on your camcorder then you can record tv, etc. Hope that helps!

  • @Craizen do i actually need a VCR to record? I have a 7.4mm F3.0 camcorder with MPEG4 and a 16:9 and a 4:3 display option. Can i just get my AV cable from my tv and just plug it in and boom thats it?

  • Boooo!!!

    DVR is better!!!

    Boooo!!!

  • lol. well not everyone is rich as you pandafnah... :/

  • thanx

  • yeah,,,, didnt work,,, it keeps sayin "no singal" ,,, is it because i have the HD camera,,,,,, this is NOT working

  • lol i just tried my camra like an hour ago and i think mine has a problem cuz the camras screen is just green and it makes a buzzing noinse so i need to get a refund and get a new 1

  • No signal? is the tv saying no signal? Your suppose find a tv channel that you want to record, then plug the end cable into the camcorder. Also did a screen pop-up when on your camcorder when you pluged in cord (Look at 4:00 minute mark on the video)
