Its fun to have llamas, just to have llamas, but showing is what I do 4H and ALSA. You can also have them for fiber or sheep gaurding, Im glad that you know that people cant ride llamas...ur smart, hope you get a llama soon! :D

we lived in texas and raised them to show.. had as many as 15 once..we had 2 sons who showed them at state & county fairs... sold them as guard and show animals...we needed to sell but my wife still misses taking care of them...it used to take me 3-4 hours each to groom our show llamas...phew!!
