It depends on the terms.. Either Saudi's can have the American Dollars kept in American Bank Accounts for investments and purchases of goods or stock, or they can have it converted to the going exchange rate of Riyal and stored in a Saudi Bank(or probably invested).
It would be a complete waste of time to transport paper dollars overseas (except to a currency exchange like at the airport). Not only would they be wasting money for transportation, the time in transit would be seen by any businessmen as waste of the potential value of that money if it were invested in stocks and bonds.

I'd be wrong to say no "PAPER" American money reaches those countries.. However, this would typically be to the exchange(at the airport) or carried personally on a return trip and not converted.. If you derive pleasure by the glimmering hope that a bill with an anti-islamic message(in English) written on it could end up within a huge stack of bills at an exchange in Islam or within the pocket of a Saudi traveller, then do it. It depends on the terms.. Either Saudi's can have the American Dollars kept in American Bank Accounts for investments and purchases of goods or stock, or they can have it converted to the going exchange rate of Riyal and stored in a Saudi Bank(or probably invested).

It would be a complete waste of time to transport paper dollars overseas (except to a currency exchange like at the airport). Not only would they be wasting money for transportation, the time in transit would be seen by any businessmen as waste of the potential value of that money if it were invested in stocks and bonds.

I'd be wrong to say no "PAPER" American money reaches those countries.. However, this would typically be to the exchange(at the airport) or carried personally on a return trip and not converted.. If you derive pleasure by the glimmering hope that a bill with an anti-islamic message(in English) written on it could end up within a huge stack of bills at an exchange in Islam or within the pocket of a Saudi traveller, then do it. A Bin Laden Voodoo doll would do as much good.
