I agree it will take this past season happening again in terms of not many one loss teams. The problem is several schedules are just much weaker every year. West Virginia always has such a cupcake schedule, thank God Pitt took them down but I don't think we can wait for that random of a chance to happen again.

I'm not sure that I follow. Georgia has the fastest defense in the SEC and a better QB and running game than LSU had in 2007 (in which LSU had a good running game). Georgia led the league in sacks with five more than LSU while playing in one less game and was in a virtual tie with Florida and LSU for best rushing defense. How is it that OSU's luck would improve against the SEC? I'm not trying to be a smarta**. I'm just trying to understand the logic.
Just don't read any articles about how good UGA is supposed to be in 2008 between now and this time next year. To hear the press tell it, USC had all but won the BCS title in August of 2007 and how'd that work out? I'm a UGA fan but just remember UT 35 UGA 14, USC 16 UGA 12 in two of the worst performances I've ever seen out of UGA teams. Don't just think you can dominate. Actually go out there and do it! what a great season! i've been a georgia fan for a long time, and i can't remember a season that was more fun to watch than this one. we went from some horrible lows, to some incredible highs. lets remember to stay humble and come ready to play hard every down next year. nobody is gonna hand us the BSC next year, so lets go out and win it. I think UGA would have beat LSU that particular weekend b/c Flynn was out, Dorsey too, and Georgia was playing the best football in the SEC at the time with beatings of Florida, Auburn's top 5 defense, and a Kentucky team that LSU lost to. 100% UGA + 100% LSU = The real National Championship.

I'm not sure that I follow. Georgia has the fastest defense in the SEC and a better QB and running game than LSU had in 2007 (in which LSU had a good running game). Georgia led the league in sacks with five more than LSU while playing in one less game and was in a virtual tie with Florida and LSU for best rushing defense. How is it that OSU's luck would improve against the SEC? I'm not trying to be a smarta**. I'm just trying to understand the logic.

Just don't read any articles about how good UGA is supposed to be in 2008 between now and this time next year. To hear the press tell it, USC had all but won the BCS title in August of 2007 and how'd that work out? I'm a UGA fan but just remember UT 35 UGA 14, USC 16 UGA 12 in two of the worst performances I've ever seen out of UGA teams. Don't just think you can dominate. Actually go out there and do it! what a great season! i've been a georgia fan for a long time, and i can't remember a season that was more fun to watch than this one. we went from some horrible lows, to some incredible highs. lets remember to stay humble and come ready to play hard every down next year. nobody is gonna hand us the BSC next year, so lets go out and win it. LSU beat both the teams you lost to...you had two losses just like us but both of ours were in triple overtime...we won the SEC championship...we had one more win than you did...georgia should not have been in there instead of LSU but they should have been there instead of Ohio St. that would have been a great game

Georgia would have gave LSU a hell of a game in the SECCG, even if LSU was 100% healthy. I think UGA would have beat LSU that particular weekend b/c Flynn was out, Dorsey too, and Georgia was playing the best football in the SEC at the time with beatings of Florida, Auburn's top 5 defense, and a Kentucky team that LSU lost to. 100% UGA + 100% LSU = The real National Championship.

UGA, you guys outclassed us in all aspects, defense, offense, and every position. This is why UGA should be in the NC instead of LSU but I'm sure LSU will make the SEC proud.
Once again, I have all the respect for UGA, yea the very same team that whooped us but I give credit where it's due. Congratulations.
