Plane didn't crash, and there was no hint of anything going wrong with the plane as it touched down, so it looks like I will just continue using my digital camera during take-off and landings in the future. Wow, I always wanted to watch landings at my (former) local airport. The place is very beautiful. The environment is awesome, the view is great and there are hotels and resorts all along and around the runway and the airport area. Whenever, planes landed at Nadi, I wondered what must it be like from above in the cockpit since we drove along and around the runway to reach the airport, thus encountering many low flying planes.
