  • It's really Warwick Davis inside a costume.

  • that.was.amazing. o.o

  • is it a robot cause its so cute and i want to get it!

  • It looks like a bear

  • If there is a man inside or it is being controlled remotely then it isn't a true robot, however this video is from 2006 (updated in 08) and it is now 2011 and it is conceivable that if someone had been doing research and engineering non-stop since then we could indeed have a true "robot" version of this dog. The question is, is the research happening or are all these projects spending a lot of time on dusty shelves?

  • it's a man inside..

  • This is a midget is a suite! Very obvious when you see it get out of the sitting position!

  • it is a human, no robotics move that smoothly yet.

  • @kailuaview It's a super, no cool that story, bro, yet.

  • soooo its not for sale?

  • It is a normal human in a dog quadsuit with his legs bent so that they actually walk with their knees. Take a look at this one too: /watch?v=-P0vLHoVZAk

  • It's a brilliant quad-suit! If you look closely you'll understand that The man's legs are tightly folded. Practically the dog's hind paws are the man's knees. And the tail and probably the head, could be animatronic.

  • Guys , it's real because of it's movements!

  • ive never seen walking animatronic but im the guy who knows animatronic that is

  • TWO LITTLE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

  • 2midget, 1 dog suit

  • It's a real human in there, go and see on the firm page.

  • its two little people in a dog costume lolz

  • its two migits in a dog costume lolz

  • It's a guy in a dog suit lol

  • lol its a dude in there

  • Where can I purchase one? And by that I mean the person inside the costume? I need someone with moves like that

  • Moves more like a polar bear

  • i'll buy that

  • But will it blend?

  • its not an animatronic

    its a dwarf!!!!

    really creepy

  • It a person in a Fur suit with moving Tail and Ear and there Back feet are bent like your setting on your nees that is why the Dog was setting a lot I've seen this Type of Fur costumes before and that is a person in a Fursuit they are Very Good at not Talking in there Costume and I shore they were hot in that fur a lot. and you can see there real neck in part of the video. from the look of the way they are move its a female in the costume and there not a mini person just a slim girl in costume.

  • awwwwwwwwwwwwwww <3

  • do want

  • human movement no robatic

  • i dont see no robotic movement only . looks more human movement

  • yep there is some one in there.

  • Is just a guy who was cut his legs and knees for doing the work. the only animatronic here is the tail.

  • @AZURA888 the tail is actually being moved by the person's feet (as the legs and arms are bent to achieve a more realistic appearance for a dog) - so you're close, but not close enough

  • I bet its a person who had their legs amputated at the knees. probably JUST so they could wear this costume.

  • omg

  • Idt that's a robot

  • OMFG, working tail. howww??

  • thats a person

  • how can i get oneee!!!!

  • Anyone reminded of Nina (Chimera) from Full Metal Alchemist?

  • @WilliamBrothers i did not want to remember that

  • It's a guy with his legs cut off at the knee.

    Yep yep.

  • @h00rj thats exactly what I was gonna say!

  • look up the website....its a person

  • a quadsuit

  • 7 real dogs watched this

  • 0:27 WAIT WAIT!!! Don´t leave YET!!! HEY!!!

  • its like there's a midget inside

  • It's a guy in a suit. Only the ears and tail are animatronic.

  • The only animatronics in this are the tail, I can tell by looking that their is a human inside and that this is a quadsuit. Quadsuit use several different methods to walk on all fours including arm stilts or leg binding.

  • It's a little person in the suit.

  • @slapurmommaz tiny tiny person

  • Not animatronic, the movement is very human, unless there's a guy named Nunian Sung who makes androids , I doubt that's mechanical.

  • @jay55also Well, I may have once been called "Often Wrong Sung"...

  • @mascotmatt Didn't mean anything negative, the movement is very smooth and life like. thought it might be operated by a person inside, but now I think I'll admit my wrong guess.

  • DOGGY! XD

  • god sonn these things will over run the world... :L

  • Considering they are calling it an "animatronic" dog, I'm guessing it is a robot, of sorts. It is being controlled remotely by people standing off to the side. This way it is all technology, but the mind is human.

  • it could be a quadsuit

  • is that a fur suit or a robot? o.0

  • super cute!

  • is this a robot or an actual person? O.o

  • if people actally belive this is a man in a dog suit, then the makers of this animatronic did a very well job, also the dog is to jittery to be a human in a dog suit, walking animatronics like this have limitations due to balance issuses.thats why the rear legs are stiff. ever seen one of those backflip toy dogs. they have stiff rear legs like that to. trust me animatronics are way better today than they used to be. they beat most cpu effects for movies if it wasn't for the cost

  • This is a person in a suit the movements are to quick to be a automated "toy"

  • Haha! It looks lke a person without legs in a dog costume, you know.

  • so cuuute!

  • It is a double amputie at the knees in a costume. These people exist, face it people!

  • that's animatronic? IT'S SO COOL!

  • haaaaaaaaaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha mmmmmmahahhahahaha

  • People. This is really, really, a robotic dog. It's been verified. Quit it with all the "person in a suit" comments. All the amateur, ten-second visual commentary you can provide isn't going to won't change the fact that it's already been bloody proven.

  • @Lurnick link then? put an actual end to it

  • @Lurnick quit yelling at me!!! you might be right but i'd have to check it out myself to believe it. sorry, but i'm not that easily convinced. skeptics rule

  • @latex123456 lol true i personally dont believe servos are that good yet, the motion is questionable plus something would brake moving like that unless theres a new type of servo that works just like a human muscle but im yet to see it heh plus why such realism in the motion yet poor unrealistic motion in facial and appearance dosnt make sence could of at least make it blink so yeah students

  • Fake! - guy in a suit.

  • its too quick and responsive, most likely fake, pretty sad for someone to do this if it is fake

  • I bet it's a midget

  • @allanonmage I bet it's two midgets! one at the front and one at the back wagging the tail.

  • no its robotic

  • yes it is :D

  • looks like a monkey in a dog suit, the way it sits and stands..

  • Your all a bunch of animals!!!

  • so cute~ *-*

  • whats wrong with a real dog?

  • the poop

  • Real dogs are harder to tame then robots... Unless you can build doggy mind control, robots are better at doing your will :P

  • @retsnom92 yeah don't need buy dog's food and it's don't need be pipi..XD

  • No robot, just a person in a quadsuit. Look up one if you don't know what they are.

  • you live in 1400? its robotics

  • I wonder if, when it bites it initiates a "real" rabies projection sequence...

  • But why would you make a robot that looks like a person in a dog suit ?

  • its not a robot ita a person

  • costume

  • wow! amazing robot dog!!!!!!!

  • Its a person in a suit !

  • wow that looks so awesome.

  • its a suit.

  • yeah its a man ina suit look at the description provided site..

  • its probly tht guy from jackass or wild boys

  • I want to get me one of those

  • Japan rocks

  • i bet there's a gnome inside... it's movements are way too fluent and not choppy like a robot's ...

  • IT A FREAKING COSTOME!

  • Animatronic Puppet, 'Puppet', as in a person inside. 'Mechanical', as in functional moving parts of a machine.

  • Animatronic puppet, part human, as in a person inside. Mechanical, as in functional moving parts of a machine.

  • Animatronic puppet.

  • that is one big toy dog!!!!!love it♥

  • It just might be a robot... Either Asia or Japan made a "man" that rolls around on the ground. Technology is getttin' pretty good now.

  • Note the fact that the back legs don't bend, the hindquarters are very large, and the back "feet" are slightly bulged... personally, I'd say that it's a person (it is a person, a normal one) and that they are bending their back legs to fit in the costume. This also explains the tail - the feet are right there, so perhaps there's a string assembly or something to move the tail. It's a very well made suit, to be sure.

  • But...normal people don't have back legs..

  • I agree, the rear legs also seem slightly shorter and don't bend properly.

I think that inside is probably a very good contortionist that used to work in a circus... ha ha. Nice try for this guy

  • its a performing bear

  • that would hurt like hell to do though XD

  • @SCRuner5h good call on the guy in the dog suit.

  • @SCRuner5h id say its a small person in a suit with arm extensions, you dont really need to think that hard about it

  • @SCRuner5h Okay, but how do you explain th eopening and closing mouth plus the wagging tail?

  • @SCRuner5h Okay, but how do you explain th eopening and closing mouth plus the wagging tail?

  • @Thoralmir Brake cable controls, one in each hand.

  • @SCRuner5h its not a human

  • @SCRuner5h its a robot

  • @SCRuner5h so funny how your wrong

  • @SCRuner5h humans have BACK legs?

  • @LimeyBitch LMMFAO

  • @SCRuner5h Legs don't bend that way. It's a person in a partially-animatronic suit.

  • @SCRuner5h its real....its a robot. like i said ..... its a prototype created by someone. will most likly never be sold in stores. and if it was; no one would be able to afford it. it would be thousands of dollars. no person would be able to be tht short and comfterble on the ground on hands a knees. unless they can bend there knees legs perfectly flat against the back of there leg and still be able to do all that. you try it. wht ur saying sounds so primative. really? a costume at a DC car show

  • It sits like a freaking bear. Research, people!

  • it is in the dog a man?

    LOL

  • IT is a real robot...

  • some people say that its a robot and some say ist a costume ... so what is it really? and i never seen a human have an tails 0:28

  • dont listen to what enyone else says...

    its a friggin robot!

    japanese people are smart

  • Nope-Its a MIDGET in A dogsuit,Watch ORINGINAL 1970s BATTLESTAR GALECTICA for**Robotic pet**-That "robot pet" was same type costume used at that show

  • well, things have changes since 1970 if you havent noticed already

    japanese people are hella smart

    do the research bud'

  • @OLDSCHOOLHHSEX Except on Battlestar Galactica, it was a monkey in the costume, not a midget. This suit is far too big for a midget. You can see the outline of the performers arm in the costume as he/she bends it just before rolling over. Definitely a person inside. The legs are either bent & tied, so that the knees are the back feet or the performer has no lower legs. I tend to believe the former, as I also believe they are using their feet to wag the tail.

  • It's actually a suit... To prove it go to the site given in the description box. You'll see when you get there...

  • is it avalable to the public?

  • this is a costume!

by the way click on my name and watch my videos

  • if they can make the tickle me elmo stand up on its own i beleive they can make this.

  • No, seriously this is a robot. Look at the "more info" box. Pretty cool and lifelike. Kind of creepy too...

  • its robotic....

    ive seen them make it.

  • look like a midget in a dog costume.

  • this is obviously a dog costume

  • robot

  • i think its like those chinese dragon dancers

    2 people are in there

    SMALL people

    I THINK

  • its a dog suit with a dwarf human inside they have arm stilts so they can walk naturally on all fours.... Notice the person go from a sitting position to standing without bending at the knees, thats a dwarf thing (the tail electric maybe?)

  • Then it is a dwarf on 4 years.. Its not a human

  • The way it sits and moves reminds of an Ape, not a dog.

  • thats cute

  • I'm having trouble deciding if that's a guy in a suit or really a robot... if it is a robot, it's probably one of the most fluid and best robots i've ever seen.

  • @Azkadaz me too

  • @Azkadaz thats the japanese for you

  • True it looks too good to be real...

  • To everyone who says 'ITS R3AL IT HAS WEBSITE LOL'

The website doesn't say its a robot. The website does however sell the animal suits that look identicle to this dog...

So yes, its a person in the dog costume. (Even though it is extremely obvious from its movements)

  • You can also go onto a website talking about lord of the rings... that doesn't make it real -_-.

  • This is not robotic. The dog's movement it's too humanoid lol

  • i bet a midget is gonna come out of that thing.

  • THERES A GUY INSIDE

  • awh :) if i were small enough to fit into a suit like that ide wear it to anime con for the heck of it.

  • thats impossible for it to be animatronic! We are not that far in knowledge of robots to create a robot to move and fuction that fast and exactly like a dog! That is a man in a suit for sure! if you think its a robot your just DUMB!

  • I`m pretty much sure that`s a man in a suit. But I dont get how he put his legs in it without it getting a weird shape.

    Hhmmmmmm...

  • it's a man in a suit but the face and the tail, and ears are remote controlled to move....pretty cool though

  • I'm not buying it. This thing is way to fluid in movement! My guess is it's a suit with some robotic/radio controlled parts and an amputee (below the knees) in it.

  • ^^

    So cute!

  • Thats so cool but is it a robot or is there a person inside???

  • its a hoax, their are to midgets inside XD

  • Its a robot, cause otherwise why would they be advertising it?? it is obviously a robot, and a good one to. i'd be scared incase it turned evil, or something :D

  • lol

  • Cool ;O it moves almost like a real dog ;)

  • Oh, i see what you did thar.

    XD

  • Midget in a suit. But it's yet cute :)

  • Not a midget. Person's legs are bent. They're walking on their knees.

  • If that is a robot I would LOVE to see what is under the fur! Impressive how fluid the movement is and how fast the reaction time is. I wonder if it is RC?

  • Its a man in a suit, hes on his knees, the tail wags becuase the mans foot goes up into the tail. a robot could not move that swiftly.

  • it can!

    it's programmed not calculated

  • Actually, it is a robot but it was roughly around 2million. All the bugs were worked out of it so it moves so swiftly but what it did her is all it can do. Look stuff up before posting please.

  • haha, thats crazy talk there, it has robotic parts for the face gestures and the tail, but other than that, its a suit. there is someone inside.

  • @littlecrash8 unbelivable how people are saying its a midget in a suit lmfao! wtf? its most likly worth as much as a car or more! 2mill would not be surprising either. dogs will soon be obselete. why would there be a person in a costume at an auto and robotic convention? really? ur the only one tht makes sense

  • You're a man in a suit. IBM employee anyone?

  • Midget in a suit. Robots don't react that quickly yet, not to mention there's no sound of servos.

  • Litkle man in suit that can eweryone see LOL so sad thats a fake :(

  • this is a totally awsome dog!!! i would totally pay any price for it!!! it is the awsomest ROBOT dog i have ever seen! they should sell these in stores! awsome and thanks to the people who made this vidio

  • This is totally a robot! The people who made this dog are...GENIUSES!!!

plus it is very cute :)

  • like iv mentioned before. the dogs back hind legs bend the opposite direction of a humans knees.

it cant be a human unless you can prove that your knees could bend forward.
