Hey!
I've a question... but why I've to unlock the iphone if the carriers and Apple sell it unlocked or with a contract? With the contract, can you cancel it and then unlock it? It could be better, because you buy it at $ 299 and then you unlock it.. right?????

one can only do a restore when thing go bad, put it on recovery mode and restore to 2.0 again. that's all, or if you don want to risk it, then custom make a 1.1.4 firmware and restore.

I have an iphone v1.1.4 unlocked with ZiPhone which is bl 3.9 and 1.0.0 OOB.
For me, i have to click browse ipsw
wait till its reconized (my phone is not pwned!)
then push iPwner
wait till thats done
then i open ipsw builder and make sure activated is checked off
and wait till its done building then restore with that firmware?

It can be 1.1.4 or 1.1.3 OoTB or jailbroken, ziphoned or iLibery-ed, but IT MUST BE RUNNING 1.1.4, if it's 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, you must firs update to 1.1.4, that's all.
