I do yoga and have tried this...I am a bit of a perfectionist.
I can't do it for long too painful on my bum bone

@cesec24 It really dependson where you need the most work for some it will be the legs Mostly I would say the mid section Psoas and the abs intercostals . Not just the abs this pose works alot more than that.

hold it for as long as you can and time it, then try and increase by a second each time you re-try it

Yeap a second a time is heaps that is well over a minute if you do it twice per week for year.
Just bring your legs as high as you can and work with only the first move. You will get better at it .
