  • So pleased with the way mine turned out...gunna eventually have a cab built by a local and pick up an alnico speaker from ebay, etc, but right now I have this same glorious tone for around $300. Super Jazzed!!

  • I have an eric amp but haven't commissioned it yet due to a number of reasons. I have a celestion G12-80 to pair with it. Will this be a satisfactory match up?

  • @orbodman Fender (and others) used those in a lot of solid state amps. Should go well enough as it is a good all-rounder with a nice clear tone. The amp should be able to drive it OK but you may miss some nuances at low volumes. A 25-50W would be a better match for quiet playing.

  • nice and soothing good stuff man, nice amp btw

  • Fabulous tone! I just emailed Eric to see if he can do me one up with a DI!!! Let's see if he can (c;

  • Lovely tones there. I actually bought one of these myself from Eric - great amp! I'll be posting a clip myself soon as well. Cheers

  • Yep, lovely amps. For simpler transport I put mine in a cab with a Jensen P12N and it sounds beautiful. I've been meaning to do some more clips with that and a Laney Lionheart with a Tele and a 335 but just haven't had the free time lately.

  • sweet tone .. what tubes did you use (specifically rectifier) ? I mean made by who

  • Can't read the name on the tube - it's probably getting on 50 years old. I imagine it would be a US-made GE or RCA or similar though.
