I am currently playing and painting the Dragoons, successors of the Salamanders, which are basicly green with red details (Shoulder pad trim, knee pads etc.) and the Salamander insignia.

the preditor isnt a chaos predator. ya know that sprue full of chaos bits for vehicles. you need a certain ammont of them on it, or u neede to paint OBVIOUS CHAOS SYMBOLS ON IT for it to be chaos, that would not be leagle in most tournements

they wouldn't not allow you to use your vehicles because it does not have tiny spikes and symbols etc. it is obviously a predator, and thats all you need.

if you look on the front of the predator it has a nurgle symbol from the sprue on it, and you could hardly say its normal marines

i get it, and i am not trying to piss anyone off, but it is like with my chaos rhinos. i bought space marine rhinos, and painter them black. my buddy gave me 2 nurgle symbols, and i ploped them on there. i also painted the chaos star on one of the doors like mattrakker did. i went to play at my shop, where they play only TOURNEMENT LEAGLE STUFF. apparently, having the basic vehicles with chaos icons like that isnt suitable for tournements because i was told i couldnt use them in the shop.

Although I like the Nurgle effect of the Daemonic Posssession with the yarn and greenstuff etc., I don't think it's worth spending 20 points to upgrade a rhino that way especially as you said since you weren't going to be shooting out of it.

I'd recommend either putting a 2 meltagun squad in it and shooting because otherwise that is a waste of Daemonic Possession. The Predator makes sense though.
