Actually I shouldn't say he WAS of middle eastern decent.... because NO ONE knows what colour he was... It's mere speculation. People can make assertions, but that is the extent of it. The Jews got their language, religion & culture from the Canaanites & Sumerians through Babylon is well documented by historians. The original ancient Hebrew alphabet was identical to that of the Phoenicians.

Thats not what the Bible says.The Bible says His feet were like burnish brass in an oven.Take a piece of brass and burn it in an oven.You will see that brass turn black vs a sandy color.

@arnibah There is an icon painted by St. Luke the Apostle and one of the first icons in the world. Painted on the table on which was the Last Supper. Luke it is painted in such a color that had Jesus. He was mixture of all races. Not black, not white, not yellow. The icon is now located in Hilandar Serbian Orthodox monastery on Holy Mount Athos in Greece. He had a dark skin but not black.

Greeks didn't painted that icon but Sain Luke Apostole.That icon came there with God's will in Greece. It does miracles. But He is perfect and He shows that He care for every man on the world and He showed the world that He is the Savior of the world. The point of this is that every man sees himself in Him. Europeans saw them selfs in Him like white man, Africans like black. Greeks know that. And African Christians. So don't be limited in your mind, and understand like all Africans understood.

Interesting. I have seen specials on tv that say Jesus was not white but of mixed race. I believe Jesus was a mix of African and Far West Asian (Far West Asian is what most people today refer to as Middle Eastern.)

All you people who deny the that black people are true jews i ask you guys to refer to Dueteronomy 28:64-68 and see references to the plight of black Israelites during th trans-atlantic slave trade. Note that the word 'Egypt' means slavery. And thats a fact. Israelites were scattered into present day Africa after Yahweh's curse, which can only be lifted after judgement of the gentiles comes to pass. Also check Dueteronomy 28:37, confirmation of why black people are called 'niggers'.
