I am having an issue with the screen flickering as of late but nothing like you describe. All smart phones seem more susceptible to problems but as phones go, HTC seems solid for what you get imo. When the pro2 gets out, I will jump on it..

It is not a sprint background.. they are weak.. I just transferred some backgrounds from my PC on my HTC phone and found one that looks good. Transfer the .jpg (or whatever) fie to your picture file i=on the HTC and then "set as wallpaper. If you have trouble, let me know as it has been a while but as I remember, thats how I did it. bullshit!! they don't have a limit!!! i have used my slingbox hooked up with my htc touch pro for hours upon hours!!! recently i looked at my kb usage and i used well over 80 gb for the month and my bill came out exactly like it always does!!! i've been using a lot of bandwith since i've been a sprint customer as i've always had slingbox hooked to my phone and i haven't got any higher bills!! you don't know what you're talkin about!! i think verizon and att have a limit!

Thank you for all the views!! Sprint TV is recorded. Sling is live. 1 payment upfront and you are good to go. Check out the website.. They have very good support. Anyone know of some games like the game "Teeter" that takes advantage of the gyrator thing in the HTC pro?

sprint TV is not live TV. Pre recorded and old news if your are looking for up to date content.. Sling is direct from your cable box so if there is a touchdown or a stock market move, it is real time.. not yesterday's news.. must have imo.

but i have to admit it has a 900mah battery compared to the 1000mah touch battery

i have a secret most people dont know about if u have the touch or the mogul if u go threw the insurance company and pay the $100 deductable to get it replaced they will replace the touch with the diamond and the mogul with the touch pro which otherwise with the full upgrade discount would still cost 300 so i saved 200 by saying there was something wrong with my phone which there was but i could have got it replaced for free from sprint because it was a technical malfunction

however if u go threw sprint and not the insurance company sprint still has the touch and the mogul instock so u will just get your same phone. I actullay used my upgrade to get the rant for free sold it for 100 and paid my deductable but apperently ur not allowed to do that but one of the employees told me i could so they had to let me i dont suggest trying it because it links the phone to your account and they wont let you take it off unless they fuck up like they did for me lol!

Thanks for the comments. there is a fee to have slingbox mobile. You need the box for $125 and $29 for the software. Good thing of it is that's it! Once you buy it you have your living room TV on your phone. The other services charge monthly and it's pre-recorded fake live TV. As far as installation, I've installed and reinstalled with no problems with a few calls to slingbox support.. Sorry I can't help more but I can tell you it works great. GLTA

Will it work when not connected to wifi? Will ORB work just as good? I tried ORB at a sprint store on the Touch Diamond and it did not work well, if at all.

Yeah I been using sling since it frist came out and yes it the best and way better than sprint tv. I love it when allot of Iphone people say Wow and to bad iphone cant do the sling :)

Slingbox isn't free. You have to buy the box and hook it up with your wifi connection. You can use Slingbox with most WinMobile devices. Battery life on the Diamond and Touch Pro is not that great. My Diamond runs down shortly after lunch with average use and the screen on half brightness. You will need to charge during the day. I will purchase an extended battery when one is available. Screen is awesome, much crisper than iPhone.

I am about to get a new phone and I have got my selection down to two phones. The BB storm or the tough pro. I love my Black berry but the touch pro looks great. Can you explain how the slingbox app works. Do you have to be on wifi and did you have to install it on the phone or did it come preloaded?

Thanks for the posts. I do have 2 issuse with the PRO. It turns on after I shut down which is a power drain and the text and email window are both small. Anyone ele have this problem?? Otherwise this phone rocks.
