  • thats port moody

  • most ranger don't 4x4 so his shit outta luck.

  • thats not a truck! thats a ranger...

  • The guy finally was like ahh fuck it, Let gravity do the rest

  • damnit you missed the usps truck.... thats an instant 1 million points lol

  • dont drive a ford ranger faggot

  • well its useless trying to turn the truck around on that slope. he shouldve been pushing the back from the start

  • just park it man, just park it!

  • charlie sheen

  • NEVER, NEVER use reverse gear when backing down a hill with a rear wheel drive vehicle!! Even if it is in 4-wheel drive range!

    ALWAYS use neutral.

When going forward and coming to a stop, throw it in neutral at 10 MPH and you will notice it gripping 10 times better too. (For rear wheel drive vehicles ONLY, even when engaged in 4-wheel drive range)

  • That guy is really strong!

  • why didnt the idiot put it in reverse and back it down the hill insted of having no control and sliding down

  • 6 psi and he would make it :)

    ZUK

  • that is really the easiest thing every a 1/2 ton truck and some all terrain tires and i would make it. its not the matter of hailing ass its a matter of momentum. i live on a hill steeper then that and make it ever winter and the snow is 12 inches sometimes at the least.

  • Holy Crap It's Superman!!!! in a winter coat....

  • @olUncrankablelo LMAO! you seriously just made me hurt myself from laughing so hard. I just got surgery and laughing hurts!!

  • @cb7pwn If I helped every jackass who was driving in that weather I wouldn't be able to pay my bills (I work from home). Anytime the weather is like that the hill outside is littered with morons. We've actually thought about just putting up a camera all winter to automate it.

  • boy can't drive.

  • well what kinda vehcle u got jeremyprz?

  • Danger Rangers always get stuck

  • Well done mate!! That was some sick control while sliding backwards with no traction. :D

  • @TheLateDarkness why you calling him your mate? what are you gay butt buddies

  • just go out when u need to go out.

    hibernate

  • TIRE CHAINS DONT WORK they mess up ur tires

  • I got 2 words for that guy... TIRE CHAINS!

  • That's when you just park your truck where it is and walk home.

  • this is why i drive a gmc 4wd with cooper tires a locking front and rear by dana and tire chains.

  • @damnmyusenamewastook Nice, but chains are not in the snow I drive in =/

  • @damnmyusenamewastook rofl... what a over kill to simply drive in snow

  • you just got to know how to drive in snow...

  • times like these the army should rent out tanks

  • and that is the problem with open differentials only one front and one back tire spins, get a good truck with an off road package and get at least a rear locker, that should help the problem or do what i did buy tire chains, very very effective. he would have been able to make it in 2wd then

  • hi did great in that situation

  • lol at 1:58 he is like come back you stupid truck D:

  • jeez what a day hah.

is this guy the son of superman or does every American push his truck to work nowdays?

  • Even if u have wheel drive when it's that slick ur gonna slide, can't believe the morons that say my 2 wheel drive would of made it up that, idiots

  • its a 98 4wd ranger.... my 2wd can make it up that!

  • im pretty sure it has a 4x4 badge on the bed

  • DUDE, if the mailman didn't bother, why should you?

Sleet rain hail and really steep snowy streets with a guy in a yellow jacket who thinks he can push a 2000 pound truck around.

And in local news, a jackass in a yellow jacket is dead tonight after being plowed over by a 2wd Ford Ranger sport.

  • Pretty sure that is a 4wd... what 2wd ranger sits like that?

  • @mjlvd3 : the 1996 sport package. I had one...looked 4wd but drove, well, like a ford.

  • @PavePaws ahh I see.

  • thats why you need 4 wheel drive

  • that guy couldve solved it by turning the wheel the other way and giving it gas instead of doing it this way and he woulda been alright to turn around

  • LAME i wanna disaster here!

  • smart driver there letting off the brakes to regain control. However, why in the world you would be out on that street with a 2wd is another question.

  • wow he should put it in 4wd

  • @huntman303 rof 4x4 wont make the truck stop slide or rake better....

  • @CedrikTheManiac00 but it will allow even distribution to the brakes so that it stops much better

  • @huntman303 rofl rofl... where the fuck did you learn such stupidity?? 4x4 and brake power are in no way related.... plz dont even bother arguing just from your hilbily comment i ahve come to understand i know way more then you on this subject....pz drive safe i have a feelling your a dangerous 1 on the road....even distribution to the brake would be abs.... it only help the car stay in a straight line.... doesnt help in brake distance....

  • @CedrikTheManiac00 before you even bother answering you drive a f-250 and you know how to drive in snow... know this... i live in nothern quebec and plow for a living... i own a 99 dodge ram 2500 standard and a 2wd ford ranger....

  • @CedrikTheManiac00 actually most vehicles tend to lock up the front brakes before the back which causes a lose of steering which i consider part of the brakes since they cause the problem 4x4 true 50/50 make even braking to all four wheels but maybe that this problem of front wheels locking up before the back start to is because most of your snow turns to pure ice within hours.

  • @huntman303

50/50 braking would make the rears lock up REAL quick! Weight distribution is a key factor, but on average, 70-80% of brake power goes to the front because of weight and weight transfer.

  • lol dum ass

  • good driver he didn't have anti-lock brakes soo as he went down he let off the brakes and regained control. my f250 supposedly has anti-lock brakes on all four but i don't think that that is true lol!! but very good driving!!

  • So who ordered all the snow??

  • we got max 26c at summer were i live x) in winter its more like around -35c.....i envy your warmt...

  • If you cant push it straight push it sideways.

  • weird seeing this (I'm in Australia, just got a `cool' change - its just before midnight on NYE and its about 30 C outside at the moment - been around 40 C (about 105 F) last couple of days.. anyway, my qu - why do you guys even try driving in these conditions? I mean I know you have to get to work or whatever but it seems like you have zero control in these conditions...just doesn't seem worth it...

  • @xbfalcon351coupe cause its fun spinning donuts, hitting drifts, and sliding around on the roads. until that happens. then it sucks.

  • Im in Central Canada (Ontario) in the snow belt, and we get like 3 times more snow than this, and its not too bad to drive in, as long as you know what your doing and drive according to the conditions. What you see here is a guy trying to go up a steep ass hill, with a RWD truck. I meen anyone with a brain (well here where I live anyways) would know not to even go near this Hill.. Just looked out my window and its probly about -20 outside, and blowing snow, making it 0 Visibility...Wana Trade?

  • Um....I'd trade for about a minute (we've got more 39 degree days on the way i.e. above 100 F for the next few days...) a few minutes of -20 would be great, might wear a bit thin after that...

  • Shit dude, thats hot. It barely got above 30 here last summer...I dont mind the snow, as long as its more like -3 to -5 and it does wear thin, I start to miss dirt biking after about a month lol

  • @xbfalcon351coupe The simple answer to that question is this guy needs 4wd. Then hopefully he would carefully make his way up the hill. As much as I love Australia I would miss the snow.

  • I'd love to see the snow for the novelty value!! Saw it once when I was 4 year old...

  • @xbfalcon351coupe That is absolutely amazing to me as it is such a regular occurrence here is the Northeast Americas

  • Yeh, its funny the things you get used to...outside at the moment its about 36 deg C and we're all saying to each other `make the most of the mild weather cos we have 4 days of 41 C coming up'..(37.5 = 100 F) - I was just saying to someone here that in Western Aust I lived on the edge of the desert, we'd see 45 - 50 C often (113 - 122F) - a car got bogged to the axles once outside our house - in the bitumen of the road...the tar just plain melted in the heat.. once fried an egg on the sidewalk.

  • You gotta be shitting me. About the egg thing. I mean I have gotten tar everywhere on my bicycle because of melted tar. Maybe once ever, lol. But I have only heard of the egg frying thing. I have done it on my car's exhaust manifold. But that was to win a quick bet. Did you really cook an egg on the sidewalk?

  • I know, it sounds unbelievable - I was 10, it was 51 deg C in the shade, my dad said `its hot enough to fry an egg' and being 10 I had to give it a go. It took nearly 10 mins but by then all the white had cooked - we went out to look at it an hour later and it was all black around the edges and shrivelled....

  • @xbfalcon351coupe That is almost unbelievable. But awesome. Well, I will be visiting down there sooner rather than later I hope, lol. Get to experience that weather first hand. The only thing I can say is stay cool and enjoy the cold wave. :D

  • Cheers, dude - yeh, come down here and enjoy! I mean, it sounds bad the way I've described it - but I LOVE this weather.. cruising around at 1 AM with all your windows down cos you can't sleep anyway, chicks wear virtually nothing cos its so hot, sleeping on the beach, etc - excellent fun!!

  • that whole egg thing does work down here in texas lol!!

  • @huntman303 That is amazing to hear. I gotta try it on our hottest day one day this summer. Just cuz.

  • You need an AWD vehicle...

  • i agree...my mom has a ford edge n it handles better in the snow then my f-250 n its lifted on 38s lol

  • @2k4camthrilla AWD is not neccesarily any better than 4WD. It depends upon the individual system, the differentials, and the tires being used. GENERALLY, Audi, Subaru, and Mitsubishi have the best AWD for what you pay for them. NO vehicle would go up this hill without proper winter tires/chains, though.

  • Man I love snow but sucks driving in it!!

  • ganz schön glatt !

  • never seen that done before

  • rotfl i seen that coming and how did that ford make it up that hgh anyways? or did he come from the top? good video bro

  • yeah you better stand on that damn brake pedal LOL it will stop moving eventually!!

  • That's why you don't buy a truck unless it has 4 wheel drive.

  • damn straight 2 wheel is a waste of money

  • Because everyone can afford the $5k option of 4x4, and everyone needs it for the 6months of summer when there is no snow, and for the 9 out of ten days when the roads are plowed...

or maybe just greenhorn hot shots need 4x4?

  • hmmm guess your talking to the wrong dealer i get the prices knocked down not up. 4 wheel dont add anything when i negotiate .i guess you just need to know how its done. ill tell you the secret. do the online build your car deal bring paper to dealer show dealer the price promised online from there dealership online deal. you get that price easy as 1,2,3. bought a new truck in 98 -- 0 miles brand new sticker at dealer said 34,000 online said for the same package 21,000.paid 17,500 after trade :)

  • ITT: internet superheros.

  • I don't think 2wd will be much good to plow my long driveway in new hampshire.

  • Um, no you couldn't. At one point there was an SUV stuck who called a tow truck who also got stuck who called a bigger tow truck who took an hour to get the first tow truck unstuck. That last tow truck was the size of a tank.

  • eat shit ill betcha I can!

  • so then go up and do it! instead of debate on youtube just to make yourself look like a douche bag, like you probably are! :-)

  • Where is the hill and who's throwing down some beer on the bet? I climb hills like that all the time. all I need to do is have weight in the back and slap my chains on than it will creep right up that shit with 2wd and bald tires :P

  • well thats great to hear.

  • Erm, if you put chains on, you're not climbing with bald tires-you're climbing with chained tires...

    FAIL

  • that dude is an idiot man dont debate with the freek lol. looked like solid ice under that snow.

  • done it before on icey hills. and if I put chains on I am still using bald tires as I stated.

  • chains are ilegal in this state second chains are for bald tire sissies. lol

  • I was in portland for christmas and my 2003 Ford Explorer needed chains because of all the snow. Without them it was sliding all over the road. The 2003 Ford Explorer is the one all of the Lifeguards have and all the US forest service gusy have.

  • i dont mean to sound like a jerk and all man just chains and studded tires are illegal in the state of minesota we get just as much snow if not more than they do. you know what we do hit in 4 wheel and slow down. works just fine. no issues at all. well except when you have a small escort wagon and you have to be somewhere but they wont plow because they know its not worth it untill the 3 feet is done dropping. then we jumped in the f 150 hit 4wheel and hey like i said it was fine.

  • @jeremyprz your extremely stupid if you think bigger trucks do better in the snow

  • @jeremyprz DUDE LOOK AT THE BEAST FUCKING PUSHING THAT TRUCK. YEAH ITS ON SNOW AND DOWNHILL, BUT ITS A FUCKING TRUCK....FUCKING BAD ASS.

  • @jeremyprz did u get that on film?

  • @turbocharged99 lol @ the angry american swine. if you read the discription, you would have seen that he said

" Please tell everyone you know in the greater Seattle area" witch im 99% sure is american.

  • @turbocharged99 No you couldn't you moron.

  • @turbocharged99 Um they aren't Canadians dumbfuck, they are Americans, most Canadians know how to drive in snow

And half the people were I live have small toyotas and can still drive through it

    So shut the fuck up

  • @turbocharged99 Your adopted, your real mom smokes crack, you were created from a rape, when your father touched you it wasn't actually a check up he was molesting you. See I can throw stupid things around to!

  • @turbocharged99 ha you idiot you couldnt get up that with winter tires and 4wd lol fuckin idiot

  • @turbocharged99 fuck u fat son a bitch ass american u got no hills u only go to mc donalds u fat fuck

  • Very lucky ... :) do you have anymore vids of other people trying to get up?

  • its a ford ,wataya expect.

  • its america.whaddaya expect they cant drive very well in the winter and winter tires are not mandatory

  • lol

  • Apparently americans don't know how to drive on snow... In canada, we learn that if you lock the brakes, release them so you get some breaking and steering. Threshold breaking ftw.

  • ya go canada

  • What's up with being a good neighbor and lending a helping hand..nice.. Bummer if you ever get stuck and someone video tapes it from there house..

  • This kind of thing was happening every 1/2 hour for a week. We did help a lot of them. Believe me it gets old. At some point you ask "why don't these people just stay home?"

  • woah!

  • oh jeeez.holy crap.haha

  • what is that guy doing?
