Crazy... So much symbolism in it. One eye on his forehead, also it was an all seeing eye, the pyramids and the lizardmen. Reeks of Illuminati.. Loved this cartoon.

i dont think its the intro for the 1st season coz i rewatched the 1st half of season one on dvd. I actually think this is the intro for the movie

Seeing it on a DVD doesn't mena it's not the real intro for the first season, somwthing like that happened to Robotech (one of my favorites) i've downloaded some of the first episodes and the Intro (and many of the original sounds, which i loved ) were totally changed, also the voices or dialogues of the characters, i never saw this intro as a child, but it doesn't mean that thundercats never had this intro (which in a personal way of view is pretty good, but i like the song one ). Exactly, its not lost...lol its the beginning intro for the first or so seasons...till they changed it...i was in the 3rd grade when this cartoon started in '85...lol peace...
