  • According to another Internet site, this is located near the north end of the complex. The #10 does serve it, but you can only access this building on that bus from Kingshighway. I am glad that MetroBus routes #10 and #13 both serve this building. The sad thing is about most of these elevators, is that the parts are for them are no longer made and you sometimes have to fab them up.

  • It does seem though that Otis stuck with the black buttons ever since they had the gated elevators. The stamping of the numbers they must have done during either World War II or shortly after the war. But I think it was either 1956 or 1957 the Lexan models entered the production line and remained so until about 1984 or 1985.

  • Now since I did mention about the various cleaners I use for different type of elevators, there may be different types of sheet aluminum. They vary in different types of density. Now on all types of flooring in the elevator, I use Top Clean by Hillyard. It's design to take heavy tar off of the floor. Plus it will clean the door threshold.

  • Nice original and AWESOME door operator too!

  • Nice elevator and completely original too!!!

  • How would you like to go for a cruise on Call-a-Ride? Such as to the Sheraton at Westport. Dine in the top restaurants, go on a boat cruise.

  • Nice elevator thouth.

  • Either this coming Thursday or next Sunday, I want to film exactly the same elevators you filmed on your November trip.

  • How come you didn't let me know you were going film these in November? Was that to be confidential info??? That was not very bright to film these and not let me know when you are going to film them. I guess that at other times when you are wandering around St. Louis and want to film elevators, I guess I see why you told me that you wouldn't be filming much elevators, because if you told me where you were going to film, I would find a way to hunt you down and film with you.

  • @Streetcar1743 Ok, not to be rude, but you're not entitled to know every time I go out filming. I woke up on a Saturday morning and decided to ride down and film the whole hospital. It was just a random thing that I didn't plan in advance. And of course, you should never stalk anyone. Always ask to film with them first!

  • @TheElevatorChannel I am very sorry. Please forgive me.

  • @TheElevatorChannel Do you forgive me???
