lol... i don't think your gonna hit any of them with a shotgun from there! Add motion blur onto your shells and it would be almost perfect! Also, something i just found ws that theres ths thing called pixel polly and if you make a mask around the car and put the plugin on it makes all the pixels expode outwards... just thought it might be helpful! :)

I like effects...:) Just some construct critic...for the action itself...dropping your weapon in combat is a NO go, he should have slung it..he could've got killed with his own weapon...then shooting his shotgun at that range..no effect to hit the enemy. Your effects are nice and good first test! :D

It looks good, but you should blur the shells. In reality, they are going too fast for a camera to not blur the movement of the shells.

shells flow too far, and are too dark, muzzle flashes need to be masked when recording from behind, obviously some of the ground shots are off, but overall, great for a first test!

Hey man great video!

i know this was a test but I'll give you a quick little tip: it may be cool to have the camera following your actors, but camera switching can make your scene look more realistic and more dynamic as it is a war scene.

Awesome! I would suggest bringing down the prominence of the flashes during the day and using mostly smoke. Check out FPS Russia's channel for some good idea of what gunshots in broad daylight look like. Make sure that whatever filter/film grain effects you put on the footage, you apply to the elements you brought in as well. The idea is to not make them standout in the finished product. They should look like they belong but not grab the eye Good work though. looks way better than my first try!

wow good work that was amazing i would have beleived you if you said that was your tenth test lol, however the ejecting shells from the gun did look a little bit unrealistic but then again i only know about guns from cod :D

shells need motion blur, flashes were a little bright for daylight, choppy frame rate was annoying to the eyes, explosion tracked well but needed to use a different transfer mode like screen, your dust element coming at the camera in the explosion needs to be thinner and appear at a different frame in its own timeline. color looks alright but might need a little contrast boost. just some helpfull hints ;)

i actually liked this a lot! even the sounds, sure they could use some work but pretty sweet. the shells flew out too high though, and the obvious tracking and blending on the dirt hits, but it was pretty sweet seemed gritty. with some gritty color correction and a bit more blending on the vfx this could be even better!

Yes. All combat will have shake. But this is a little over the top. ALSO, the shake in this video is NOT the type of shake of real combat, rather, it is the type of shake caused by a low-quality compact camera recording in 480p.

I like it. The only thigs that I think need improved are is the motion tracking for the dirt charges, the muzzle flashes need to be a little bigger, and the flashes should have a lighting effect in the enviroment around them when they flash. but all in all a pretty good first test
