I loved this game but there was one thing I didn't like. In the world circuit when you start off, all the unplayable racers wore normal clothes and you could see their faces but the more you advanced they started wearing different outfits which was annoying because in one race there might just be you and five riders wearing black and yellow. It was just... depressing!

SSX had great, simple style. It's not like the follow-up where it supposedly played better, but tried throwing down too much "in-your-face" attitude complete with ugly menus.

they should make a new ssx thats like a combination of ssx and ssx tricky and bring every character from the series from ssx too ssx on tour get rid of those ugly skis and go back to those awesome looking alpine boards and the other snowboards as well then bring back the friends enemies thing ssx tricky had except you can actually make friends and not just enemies then once all that plus a few extra details are thrown in good graphics good gameplay and minus the whole monster thing then we r gd!

Why do people like SSX tricky more than SSX? SSX tricky was great don't get me wrong, but it was over-the-top great. SSX was so original and cool it was really just PERFECT. Tricky focused purely on tricks it lost a lil balance to me. The original was the perfect blend of tricks AND racing...You get to race while doing tricks and tricky was the other way around.

Can anyone help me out? I got my PS2 and all my games stolen. I managed to get them back on insurance but with a PS3 instead of a PS2. The only games I really play are SSX 1/tricky/3, but they all keep freezing in the same places every time making it impossible to complete the world circuit! Is there ANYTHING I can do? I realise this isn't a help forum but this video was done with SSX on the PS3 so I wondered if you'd found a way to overcome it? Thanks for any help :)

SSX is coming to IPhone which sucks, but atleast EA are keeping the franchise alive. SSX needs to come to 360 cos achievements and online would be immense and I just prefer 360 controls. I never had the chance to play the first SSX, but I've played every other installment and own Tricky, 3 and On Tour. SSX Tricky was the high point of the series for me, closely followed by 3. I feel things just went downhill (pardon the pun) after SSX 3. On Tour had it's high points, but just couldn't compete with the rest. Blur was just terrible. I tried to give it a chance, but just couldn't. I rented it once and ended up bringing it back the same day. All that being said, thanks for the vid.
