Besides the fact that all you italian/french/spanian/german fuckfaces do dubb all the fucking films, which make you fuckers more prone to fuck up in english understanding (which should be valid since you are a fucking bunch of tourist countries) besides that, You suck!

Haha, That comment was made after a trip to Germany and homecoming from a wet bar night. I posted it because I wanted to agrivate and foremost to start a discussion (I guess it worked! =) ). I have been to many countries in Europe and one thing that DO strike me is the poor english litteracy among middleaged and older. And I DO belive that watching movies and series in ENGLISH (with subtitles) make people better at english. It's that simple!
When I was in Berlin with my friends, we wanted to go to the cinema. And, as i know the Germans also like to dubb the movies, I asked which of the movies were in the ORIGINAL language. To my big suprise, they all were dubbed! Its insane, it was a HUGH cinema (Alexanderplatz).
None of the channels we had on the hostel played any series/movies that wasn't dubbed...
In italy, the same there. Skied in Madonna. In the restaurant IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HILL, non of the staff understood english!!!

Surely it worked!:) About the fact that watching movies in english or with subtitles make people better in english, you're right yes, but I think here in Italy a perfect dubbing is a form of art and professionism really serious. Isn't made just to let the people understand the foreign movies. And at the end let me say that the staff of a restaurant doesen't represent all Italy about the english knowledge. Surely not everywhere, but english and more are well-known. greetings!
