i know this was posted a long time ago, but i'd like to say you're awesome for posting a video like this. it's taken me a while to find a decent video on rock band tips. my weakest areas are the drum roll and the kick pedal. i think it's holding me back on progressing through expert.
Yeah I have a ION as well and the pedal sucks, it is a high hat pedal they give you! There is no double pedal option out there either. biggest epic fail of all time! Will this pedal work and if so where did you get it?!?!
Not very well, it depends on where the pedal activates. If you press down the pedal and it activates about halfway through the movement of being on the set position to hitting the base of the pedal, this is not going to work well. Also, stock pedals feel extremely flimsy and they don't feel right when snapping the pedal down twice with your heel and toe.
