  • This is a very technical way of teaching improv. I think it would be better if a connection between the cello an the voice were made. For example, singing a phase then play it. Or playing and singing at the same time.

  • @AlamoCityCello I feel like what you're describing is simply another technique ... also, I think there's a limit to connecting the cello to the voice ... the cello can do things the voice can't (and the other way around) ... but I think there's definitely value in visualizing/hearing what you intend to improvise before playing it & will definitely try to cover that in a future vid ...
