They gave up vs. Fla, Clemson, and Iowa. They finished soft as usual- THAT is the true chicken curse. Not being willing to do what it takes to win. A team of Corey Boyds would be willing to die to win that inch. That team would not lose, and if they did lose to a great team it would be close and hard faught. Mr. Boyd was the exception for Gamecock players.
There aren't too many good SEC teams this year. SCar lost to Georgia 14-7 and got thrashed by Florida 56-6. LSU may be ranked at the end of the year, but that's all your ranked SEC teams that SCar played (unless Ole Miss beats TTU). Luckily they didn't play Bama.
