  • got to know Doug in the last few weeks of his life, great guy, great character, wonderful stories of his life, sorry never heard him play , specially as he told me he was hoping to get back into his guitars. Also told me he regretted selling that les paul, but had bought a junior he was looking forward to playing when he recovered from his illness. Sorry to hear your gone doug, Charlie

  • For those of you who knew Doug "Diesel Lock", I'm sad to announce that Doug passed away this morning 12 April 2010. He will be missed.

  • On Monday April 12, 2010, I lost my dear friend Doug Lock, a talented guitarist, song writer and a man with a sense of humour second to none. Doug you will be missed, the world will not be the same without you. I think it's safe to say that I along with your "band of brothers", Zip, Pete, Jimmy & Pat will treasure the memory of you. Thanks for time we had, thanks for the muzak, thanks for being a friend and making us laugh. RIP Doug Lock

  • Just added a video response related to the Hollywood Brats. Bulldozer's bass player, Derek Carter is also "Wayne Manor", bass player of The Hollywood Brats! Just to let you know....

  • Bulldozer will reform in 2010 for a one off gig in Devon.

  • These guys rock. HOTTIES for sure also.

    Love ya!

  • Amazing! I used to work for a booking agency in Birmingham and BULLDOZER was one of our acts. A great band and also nice guys. They were managed by Ric Lee of Ten Years After, I can't understand why they never became a big name.

I saw the band twice and was very impressed, they were outstanding live, unfortunately this song although good does not represent what BULLDOZER had to offer. They played The Cavern several times, that tells it all.

I agree bring back the 70's..............

  • For the techies

Pete Isaacs late 60's SG / Imapact Stack

Derek Carter Precision Bass / Marshall Stack

Doug Lock 1960 Les Paul Standard & Firebird VII / Marshall JTM 45 Head (1966) & JMP Bass 100 Head

Nigel "Zip" Dalling played a double Hayman kit

  • Just to add a bit more: My Fender Precision Bass was a 1964, L15.... serial number. The Marshall was a 1970 100W Head driving two 4x12" speaker cabs from 1969. Oh how I miss that Bass where are you now?

  • Well well well...Stan Woolaway and the JCB's! Great band and nice guys. Brings back a lot of memories.

  • well look at you all with the hair good on you , i wasnt born till 1975 so well done to you all.

  • I saw this band in Cambridge at the Corn Exchange and they wouldn't let them off stage....they blew the headliners "Pink Fairies" into the stratosphere!

  • Seems I have two channels...so my friends this is the correct one. Included you as favourites and meant what I said as my alter ego 'Glitzblue' ha! Later Dave :)

  • Wow! I don't believe it!

I recall seeing Bulldozer back in the 70's, at The Greyhound in Fulham and at Ealing Tech? A great band then and now! Where are you guys? Why didn't you make it? Please post more from this great band! I agree with glitzblue, bring back the 70's!

  • Hey guys, bring back the 70s I say. You guys rocked then and it still works!!! Great track, brought home an era I have never forgotten. Looking forward to the reunion tour - what's keeping you? I'll be there especially as you had the most amazing bass player I have had the pleasure to rock with on numerous occasions. Keep rocking guys! And thanks for an enlightened trip down memory lane.

    Loved the track! Dave:)

  • These guys ROCK
