This movie brought no justice to the book. There's the obvious differences but, there's also the fact that the movie was way to serious compared to the book. There were less wise cracks and innocent humor. I think it was due to the fact that they aged-up the characters just to appeal to a larger audience.This movie should have been narrated by Percy to (at least) allow us insight into what he was thinking.

At 2:00, when they're in the bus, they're supposed to be attacked by the furies. they missed out so much! In the book, Percy is only 12 yrs old. Here he is seventeen! I don't know how they're going to make the rest of the movies. The great prophecy states that the child of one of The Big Three is going to save or destroy Olympus when he/she turns 16. Percy is going to look like an adult in the 5th movie and Chiron is going to grow a grey beard (like Dumbledore!).
