I'm afraid not. The "5987" is definitely not a date. There are countless 90s cars visible in the video, particularly the Rover police car which would be from 1992 at the earliest as well as numerous parked cars.

The grey Metro was parked on purpse at the end of the allyway..a classic tactic. I remember the good ol' days when we used to break down 1 bollard, just big enough for a Fiesta or a Nova to fit through..and NOT the pursuing squad car. Haha!! life on council estates luvvvvly jubbbly.
