That audience is still because an audience like that usually PAID ATTENTION to the band that was in front of them. Especially in the late '60s / early '70s. While it's cool to slam dance and mosh (I did my share of it as a teen in the '90s), it's kinda disrespectful to the band in one sense. The audience of the '60s danced a lot, but they really paid attention. As if they were studying whatever amazing band was playing. THEN they went home, cranked the stereo, and thrashed their bedroom.

Undeniable raw energy here - even from those of us who usually don't care for punk. This just simply works and the beat they use would not catch on until the 1970s. Ahead of their time for sure.
