the original doll 'Dancerina' was a 1968 model while Dancerella was a later and smaller model. Dancerina was 24 inches tall while Dancerella was only 18 inches tall.

@shelley0821 Your daughters probably had Dancerella. That's what my sister had. This is Dancerina which was made in 1968. They look a lot alike. Check out the ebay listing for a clear picture of the 1968 copyright on her back.
