I wouldn't say the guitar solo was "the worst," but it really wasn't anything special, either, IMHO. The entrance solo to the song seemed uncertain. When both were singing, the song was a bit better, though they seemed to be a bit out of sync, at least till they got to the chorus.

The problem with the solo is that it wasn't something worth standing forward and trying to draw attention to. It wasn't really even a solo, just a little lick in between bars.

@happyparallel The solo was a solo and was adequate for the tune. It followed the melody the orchestra was playing behind it. He played it in key and in time with nice phrasing. Those who say that it's the worst solo they ever heard undoubtedly hate the guitarist not the solo.
